Had a brilliant stay,room was clean & food was good.The hotel is in a lovely area & we had stunning views from our room.We slept soundly every night & unlike other hotels I've stayed we weren't disturbed by rowdy guests.Would definitely return & would highly recommend to others.

Avoid at all costs. Food basic and unvaried, It was horrendously loud, overcrowded, crockery and cutlery were regularly filthy and I had to filter through them to find anything clean enough to use, food was a constant repeat every day. Music blared until midnight every night, rooms filthy, dated and in desperate need of renovation. AC non existent in reception areas, and patchy in the room, veranda door didn’t lock, holes around doors letting in a legion of ants. Just awful.

A 3 star hotel, with daily cleaning, decent food and nice location near Cala Antena. The beach is very close along with a nice hike worthy area nearby. There is only one pool, and there was some competition for sunbeds in peak season. The entertainment was nice, as you would expect in a 3 star hotel and kept us engaged. It's an hour or so away from the airport, but we had pickups booked from our provider. There is a bus stop within 150m which has buses to Porto cristo and Cala D'or, and also supermarket along the hotel and nearby - very convenient for those extra bits and exploring nearby locations. Key thing to note - as an all inclusive resort, this hotel ends it's all inclusive privileges at check out (which is 12 noon). You have to pay 20 euros per person extra to continue using the facilities. However, they do provide luggage storage and shower facilities free of charge. Also note that late checkout is allowed with extra payment which is a good deal, but we didn't get it because of peak season. Note that late checkout includes 4 pm, 8 pm and around 10pm. In terms of amenities, there is a small football court in the back. A spa can be booked via reception in the hotel next door. The staff is also very helpful and friendly. Pool towels and kettle are available with a deposit (20 euros for one towel and 10 euro for kettle). If you get towels changed, it's 1 euro per towel. Also note that they use a plastic coin system for drinks in the day time. You exchange the coins for the glasses, and you get them back on retuning the glasses. It's efficient in the way that people can't get too many drinks, and there are not too many half used glasses lying about the pool area. But it's a bit tedious keeping a track of the coins - however overall a good practice. I saw that some reviews talked of the dated rooms, which is true. But we didn't mind it as it was quite clean and functional. It's like any other 3 star all inclusive hotel.

The hotel from the outside does not knock, but inside it is nice and clean. The service is really nice. room clean. 150 m. to the nearest beach, or 850 m to the second sandy beach.

I’ve just come back from a week at AluaSun Cala Antena with my family, and I honestly couldn’t be happier with our holiday. I was quite sceptical before arriving because of some of the reviews I’d read, but I was so pleasantly surprised. The food was amazing throughout the week. It was varied, fresh, and tasty, and I heard plenty of other guests saying exactly the same thing. The staff were another highlight—they were friendly, attentive, energetic, and always had a smile on their faces, which made such a difference. Our kids had an amazing time too. Every member of staff was incredibly kind and helpful with them, and the children were always so excited whenever they came over for a chat. It really made them feel special and added so much to our holiday. One thing that really stood out was how honest the staff were. I never worried about leaving our belongings in the room, and the cleaning lady didn’t even take the tip I’d left for her—we actually had to chase her to make sure she got it! That says a lot about the people working there. The hotel itself is a little dated and could do with some refurbishment, but it’s a 3-star hotel, so I think it offers excellent value for money. The only area where I think there’s room for improvement is cleanliness in some of the communal areas and rooms, as a little more attention to detail would make an already great hotel even better. I was also really impressed that the all-inclusive drinks were all branded rather than cheap knock-offs like you often get elsewhere. Even the beer on tap was San Miguel, and it certainly wasn’t watered down. And a special mention to the bar staff—they are VERY generous with the amount of liquor they pour into the cocktails! 😂 Overall, we had a fantastic family holiday, and I wouldn’t hesitate to come back. Don’t let some of the negative reviews put you off—our experience was overwhelmingly positive.
