Very friendly and helpful staff. Amazing facilities (pool, gyn, sauna). Restaurant was full off delicious options every day, breakfast lunch and dinner. The room was so comfortable - spacious, balcony, good shower, good air con. Perfect location near the beach - bars, shops, restaurants everywhere. Alcudia old town is a 20 min walk or 5 min drive - defo worth it. We went with our 6 month old baby and the hotel wss very accomodating - the chefs made pureed food by request. Nice atmosphere - the hotel was not overcrowded despite being during UK school holidays. Very relaxed. We were not able to get a poolside seat because people were claining the beds very early in the morning, but there were other beds 30 seconds from the pool and actually they were quieter and more private.

Second time we have been to this hotel as loved our stay here in 2024 . Had another lovely stay here although felt not quite as good as last time . Rooms are the same so very clean and plenty of room for 2 people. The housekeeping staff are excellent , so friendly and leave the rooms spotlessly clean . Reception staff also very friendly and helpful. Bar staff are generally very friendly however we did notice this time we were left waiting for long time most nights to get served. There seems to be a difference in service between all inclusive guests and guests paying for drinks so if you are AI then you may have to wait . The pool area has lovely new comfy sunbeds since we were last here however there are not enough of them so you have to be up early if you want a bed by the pool . Fine for us as I’m always up early and we only needed 1 bed but people were literally reserving 8 or so beds and then disappearing till almost lunchtime so lots of people missed out . If you are not at pool by 8ish you really don’t stand a chance . Also it does say no smoking at pool but some people were bringing ashtrays up from bar area and smoking . Staff were made aware but didn’t do anything. Not great for people at nearby sunbeds. The hotel is in a good location with easy access to beach and port . Lots of nice bars restaurants and shops nearby. Really good bus service to nearby towns and walking distance to Alcudia old town . The food at hotel is good . Lots of choice and can always find something and the restaurant staff are amazing at keeping everything lovely and clean and again all very friendly. All in all it is a really nice hotel but just didn’t impress us quite as much as it did the last time.

We recently returned from our first trip to Mallorca staying at Hotel Bahía de Alcudia, and overall we had a good experience! We opted for Half Board (HB) rather than All Inclusive since we rented a car to explore the island's beaches and sights during the day, and that setup worked out perfectly for us. The Highlights: • Location & Area: The location is ideal—literally a 5-minute walk to the beach, with plenty of shops and supermarkets right on your doorstep. We much preferred staying in the north of the island, which is far more family-oriented and relaxed compared to spots like Magaluf in the south. Transfer time from the airport was very straightforward (around 1 hour). • Rooms & Cleanliness: The hotel overall is very clean and well maintained. The rooms aren't super modern and are on the smaller side, but they were perfectly fine for our needs since we spent most of the day out exploring. Balcony was a bonus though! • Food: Breakfast was really good every morning with a great selection. Dinner was decent with a large spread—you’ll always find something tasty to eat, even if it’s fairly standard hotel buffet fare. • Pool & Garden: The main pool area is on the smaller side and loungers near the water go quickly in the morning. However, a great tip for future guests: there are plenty of extra sun loungers spread out in the lovely garden area at the back of the hotel if you want to relax in a quieter spot. • Facilities & Spa: The spa area facilities were really nice and a great added touch to unwind after a day out. Special Shout-outs to the Dream Team What truly makes this hotel stand out is the fantastic staff. A massive shout-out to the real stars of Hotel Bahía de Alcudia who made our stay so warm and welcoming: • Reception: Joan, Marc & Marga – Absolutely top-class! From the moment we checked in, they were incredibly welcoming, efficient, and always ready to go out of their way to help with questions or directions. They made us feel genuinely looked after throughout our stay. • Kitchen & Bar Staff: Chef Emilio, along with bar staff - Barto, Dani, and Gabriel – They were constantly kept on their feet with so many guest requests, but despite how busy it got, they worked so hard and always delivered service with a big smile!

⭐⭐⭐☆☆ A Hotel That Tries to Please Everyone... But Doesn't Quite Delight Anyone We have just returned from a week's stay as a family party of seven across three rooms. Overall, we had a lovely holiday, but that was more because of the people we were with than the hotel itself. There are plenty of positives, but unfortunately too many inconsistencies for us to want to return. The biggest positive is the staff. Every member of staff we encountered was friendly, polite and genuinely welcoming throughout our stay. They work incredibly hard and are a real credit to the hotel. The hotel itself is also spotlessly clean, and it's obvious that a lot of effort goes into maintaining the facilities. That said, housekeeping was a little overenthusiastic. On several mornings, staff attempted to enter our room from around 8:30am, despite us having children and clearly not being ready. We appreciate having a clean room, but repeatedly trying to enter rooms that early isn't ideal when families are on holiday. The Rooms The rooms themselves are modern, clean and perfectly comfortable for two people. However, once you have three people sharing, they quickly become cramped. Storage is very limited. There are only around 15 coat hangers between three people and no drawers at all, so most of your clothes end up staying in your suitcase for the entire holiday. Once three suitcases are in the room, there's very little floor space left. Another disappointment was the "double bed", which is actually just two single beds pushed together. One thing that also surprised us was the room safe. Rather than a refundable deposit, there is a €20 charge to use it during your stay. We've stayed in many hotels where the safe is either included or only requires a refundable deposit, so this felt like an unnecessary extra charge. Pool & Facilities The swimming pool was adequate, although we found the layout a little unusual. One pool is described as an adults-only pool, but during our stay children were allowed to use it, which actually worked in everyone's favour because the designated children's pool is little more than a paddling pool 2ft deep with a fence all the way around. The biggest issue around the pool was the lack of sunbeds. There simply aren't enough for the size of the hotel. If you weren't up early, it became difficult to find somewhere to sit. Even when beds were available, many were positioned where you couldn't see the main pool. For families with younger children, that's far from ideal, as you naturally want to keep them in sight while they're swimming. The toilets and showers underneath the pool area have clear or partially frosted glass, which doesn't provide much privacy, and there was a strong sewer or drainage smell around both the pool bar and these facilities throughout our stay. The gym is another example of unnecessary complication. Rather than simply allowing guests to use it whenever it's free, it's kept locked and has to be booked in advance. Food The food was okay, but nothing more. The selection wasn't particularly large, and there were several occasions where the menu boards advertised dishes that either weren't available or weren't what was actually being served. For example, one evening the menu listed chicken nuggets, but the tray contained cauliflower nuggets. On another occasion, chicken and beef fajitas were advertised, but only vegetable fajitas were available, with no chicken or beef at all. These may seem like small issues, but when you're choosing your meal based on the menu boards, it's frustrating to find something completely different on the buffet. One issue that genuinely concerned us was the food labelling. On several occasions, dishes either had no nameplates at all or the labels appeared to be mixed up. For anyone with allergies or dietary requirements, this could be a serious issue. Accurate food and allergen labelling isn't just helpful—it's essential. Bar Service The bar service was probably our biggest frustration. Drinks are served by waiters rather than allowing guests to order directly at the bar. While this sounds like a nice touch, the reality was often very different. Service could be slow, drinks were occasionally incorrect, and on several occasions our drinks never arrived at all. Eventually, I simply walked to the bar and got them myself. The staff were happy to serve me, so it would make much more sense to give guests the option of ordering at the bar if they prefer. Another downside was the drinks setup. Apart from water and hot drinks, there are no self-service soft drinks, meaning everything relies on the waiter service. Departure Day Departure day was particularly disappointing. Checkout is at 12pm, and from that point your all-inclusive package ends completely. No lunch, no soft drinks and not even water unless you purchase it yourself. What made this even more frustrating was that I had booked three rooms under the same booking reference. Two of the rooms received lunch vouchers for departure day, while my room (my wife, one of our children and myself) did not. Reception explained it was because we'd already had lunch on arrival. However, if that was the policy, why were the other two rooms on exactly the same booking given vouchers? Nobody could give us a clear explanation, and it left a poor final impression. Health & Safety One incident also raised concerns about health and safety. On two separate occasions, guests accidentally smashed drinking glasses near the bar. Staff told them to leave the broken glass and that someone would clear it up. Around 10–15 minutes later, the glass was still lying in a busy walkway. Eventually, both guests picked it up themselves with their bare hands because they were worried someone, particularly a child, would walk through it. Broken glass in a busy public area should be dealt with immediately. Overall This hotel feels like it's trying to cater for everyone, but in doing so it never truly excels in any one area. The staff are genuinely fantastic—friendly, hardworking and always welcoming. The hotel is exceptionally clean, and those are by far its strongest points. Unfortunately, the positives are outweighed by too many avoidable frustrations: cramped rooms for families, limited storage, a charge for the room safe, too few sunbeds, poor pool layout for families, inaccurate menu boards, poor allergen labelling, slow waiter-only bar service, no self-service soft drinks, a confusing all-inclusive policy on departure day, and health and safety issues that should have been dealt with much more quickly. We still had a lovely holiday, but that was because of the people we were with and the location rather than the hotel itself. Would we return? Unfortunately, no.

We have stayed here twice now and have loved it both times. Great location and facilities. Special shoutout to the bar staff Raúl, Jona, Dani, Lazaro, Barto, Marta and Cisco who are always so friendly and helpful! We will definetly be back:)
