We had a great start to the holiday as the flights were on time so got to the hotel about noon and were told our rooms were immediately available. We were greeted at reception by Juana who was smiley and welcoming every time we saw her at the reception also Nuria is an awesome lady who always had a smile and time to talk to you. We encountered our first problem when we tried to get in one of the 3 lifts to the left of reception as these are incredibly small and could only accommodate 1 with 2 large suitcases. When 4 of us were in one of them, during our stay, it was very cozy. There is a larger glass lift through the bar area just before the pool which would have fitted all our cases and all four of us at the same time, but we weren't notified of that. The description of the room when we booked was for a double, which I would have taken as a double bed, but it was single beds pushed together. The rooms are quite small, and this also goes for the storage/wardrobe area. There were 12 coat hangers altogether 3 shelves and two shelves either side of the bed under the side tables. There really wasn't enough storage for two weeks’ worth of clothing, cases etc. We spoke to people who were three to a room, and they said they are too small to fit three people in. We were in room 326, which is on the roadside above the main entrance. It was nice and quiet at night-time, not too much noise at all from the road. However, we couldn’t use the balcony in the afternoons as it was in full sun so far too hot to sit out in. The rooms do appear a little tired and our room, for example, had cracked tiles in the bathroom and was all a little dated. There were tea bags coffee and sugar in the room but no milk so we had to get a cup from the restaurant in the mornings. The shower was prone to getting very hot then cold but had great pressure on it. The aircon was brilliant and the bathroom was stocked with hand wash and shower gel and always topped up. You are given a voucher for hotel towels to use around the pool. These are held at reception but if you want to change them for fresh ones, you pay 1 euro each, which I feel is an acceptable charge rather than having our own crusty towels for the duration. Mosquitoes were quite a problem in the first few days with me receiving least 20 bites on my legs and the rest of our party also got bitten but not to such an extent. Breakfast every day was wonderful, great choice, never a problem. It was the usual Spanish bacon, which we love, the usual powdered scrambled eggs, which we left and had the freshly fried egg option instead, beans, tomatoes etc. as well as the usual European hams and cheese, cakes, croissants, cereal, variety of yogurts, fruit etc. At lunchtime there was usually something, like soup or salad and a roll but because they had no hot plate dispenser if you weren’t immediately in restaurant as soon as the doors opened, food could be lukewarm which also went for the evening meal. The evening meal had that issue but also, because, as my title says, ‘they try to be all things to everyone’, they have half board and all-inclusive guests. The drinks machine, even water, is out of bounds for half board guests so the drinks machine at one end of the restaurant had an out of order sign in front of it lunch and evening. The machine closest to the entrance/exit of the restaurant had a young lady who, when wasn’t asking our party of four every night for 2 weeks how many of us there were and our room numbers, was guarding the drinks machine with all her might. If you didn’t have a band on, she pounced. The other frustrating thing was waiting to be seated at a table of four even though you could see 3-4 empty tables of 4 directly in front of you. The only cheerful person in the restaurant seemed to be Pako who had a permanent smile on his face, was a funny, welcoming young man. Others were approachable but not as much as PaKo. He said his name is like Rabanne only more interesting. The food in the restaurant was not great. I think I had maybe 3 evening meals which I described as delicious. The other nights were a struggle to find something which I really enjoyed, and I am generally the sort of person who likes to try different things so will eat nearly anything. A similar thing in the bar area where only four bar staff really had smiles and a sense of humour, Bielefeld (who didn’t stop smiling for 2 weeks), Jona(who has a very dry but fabulous sense of humour) and one from behind the bar who has a top knot and beard and his wife Marie, there was also a lovely young barman at the Poolside bar who was very smiley and helpful. The only time Barbara really interacted with us was the day she came with a QR code and a list of bar staff that were working that day and a piece of paper asking me to do a review of them. She went back to minimal interaction the next day. The snack bar was a joke. The food was kept open to flies, the bread toasted in the sun and ham of various colours due to sun damage!!! The pool area was nice but the queues for the Balinese beds started 7:30 ish in the morning and our party was sometimes barged out of the way from people from behind. As nice as they are if they’re removed them and put normal sunbeds around the pool you could get more people in the pool area. Maybe put those beds in the garden area instead. The pool steps on one side came loose halfway through our holiday and they made three attempts at fixing them. Six days later they were still chained up and out of use. Also, there is a raised area where the pool bar is. There are only steps going up the middle but either side there is an 18 inch drop to the pool area which one of our party fell on the first day and injured themselves. I feel the steps should be along this entire area or the area where the deep step is should be chained off as it is quite a drop. The pool is also not big enough for people the hotel can accommodate. As nice as the pool was it tended to feel quite warm in the afternoons. The lifeguard tended to be behind the poolside bar and there were too many inflatables in the pool. Smoking and vaping are not allowed around the pool however you could often see people vaping There are not enough toilets Pool area or bar area The pool toilets are located underneath the pool in the gym. There is one lady’s toilet which has a glass door that leads into a toilet and shower. The toilet and shower doors are smoked glass so minimal privacy in there. There is a room in the reception area with 3 toilets in it, one disabled, one lady’s toilet and one which has a toilet and two urinals for men, so you tend to find all toilets get used by whoever and can often find the ladies toilet seat up or pee on the seat. The hand-washing area is shared by all in this same room. There is no ventilation in any of the toilets so they’re quite stuffy. The Entertainment is run by Deme and Milena. Deme is funny and lovely, But Milena is another level. She is so warm, welcoming, funny and the best entertainer at a hotel that we’ve ever encountered. She has a huge heart with a sense of humour to match. Loved her to bits It’s a 3–5-minute walk to Alcudia Beach but you need to move up towards the right as the area to the left is quite sludgy from where boats empty their toilets, and it smells in that area. I found myself feeling quite irritated by a series of small issues by the end of our 2-week stay. The final thing is, when you check out, they cut your band off so you can’t get anything unless you obtain a drinks voucher, for 1 drink each and a meal voucher, as long as you didn’t arrive in time for lunch on your arrival. We requested a late checkout (which would have cost 30 euro) but were told our room would be filled before we even departed for the airport at 4pm and yet the restaurant, pool and bar areas were incredibly quiet right up until our departure!! This hotel is rated as 4 stars but we feel it needs updating to get to that level as it stands it may be a 3 right now.

Lovely stay very clean hotel. All staff were very nice special shout out to barto, Raul, John, Maria, dani and Barbara, we went for my mums birthday and they all came out singing and dancing with a cocktail and bottle of Prosecco. would advise for the all inclusive experience. Great choice of food also. Not too far from the beach which is a lovely white sand beach that runs for miles. Chilled out music around the pool and bar area. Rooms with balcony and en suite. Fantastic stay 👍
