Caramelo Palma Beach

Quote surprised by some of the reviews as we are here now and its fab! No issues with the area around the pool and no sagging beds! No problems getting sunbeds. All the staff are welcoming and friendly and the restaurant is fab. Our room was great with a wraparound balcony and we could see a beach each side. No issues with noise even though we were facing a hotel full of youngsters and didn't even get woken up by the England celebrations! Loads of fantastic restaurants nearby and a short walk to the beach. If you fancy a night put the strip isn't too far away. Would definitely come back!!!

Unfortunately, this hotel was not the relaxing experience we expected based on its advertising. During our stay, the atmosphere was very loud and dominated by large groups of guests, particularly around the pool area. There was frequent shouting, disruptive behaviour, and ball games in and around the pool, making it difficult to relax. We also witnessed behaviour that made us uncomfortable and felt that staff did little to address it. The hotel itself was noisy, with poor soundproofing. We could regularly hear doors slamming, shouting in corridors, and early morning noise from outside our room, which made it difficult to sleep. We found some staff members unapproachable, and as a result we spent most of our time away from the hotel exploring Palma and nearby beaches. Overall, the facilities were okay, but the atmosphere was very different from the calm and relaxing environment we had expected. We were happy to come home..

We have come to this hotel for 3 nights bed and breakfast and this is the 1st review I have ever done. I would 100% return to this hotel, ideally situated between Magaluf and Palmanova and within minutes of the picturesque beaches of Palmanova and the restaurants and bars. The staff at the hotel are all welcoming and friendly, Jose in the restaurant was extremely pleasant and you could tell he loves his job. Rooms are extremely comfortable and modern, breakfast is the best I've ever had catering for everyone. No need to que for sunbeds etc and its like lying in bed the sunbeds are that comfortable. Hotel is situated up a steep hill so probably not ideal for limited mobility. Thank you Caramelo

Absolutely perfect stay in Palma. Close to airport and beautiful hotel. Olivia in the bar, Victor and Xavier in reception all amazing service! Recommend highly.

Reception area and breakfast / lunch areas are clean. Staff on reception are helpful. That's about it. Corridors are like entrance to hades. The paint is sickly grey colour as is the outside of the building. Terrible choice by their designer. Rooms even worse. Redisigned by someone on their tea break. No drawers or cupboards, bathroom door is old planks that offer absolutely no privacy. Bedside lamps made by African weaver birds. Balcony has no lighting and had grass growing on it. Bathroom was a mess, metal fittings that were subject to rust and the floor still had the cement marks from the old sanitary ware SOFT CLOSE DOORS MUST BE FITTED. Needs a massive rethink and refit.
