Club Cala Romani

It was late by the time we got to the hotel, we waited 45 minutes to be checked in because they were counting money and the front desk I believe. We got to our room and one of the pull out beds from the sofa was broken, we got it fixed the next day when we went for breakfast, the general area where you would eat food had an awful smell. I’m pretty sure it’s the cleaning stuff but it was disgusting. It’s a weird system if you want to use the tv or use cups. You can pay for them, so you have them for your stay, (you don’t need to) but then at the end of your stay when you check out you get your money back. The pool was nice, there was a snack area nearby so you had something to drink or eat. The best part would be the overall trips and area around, had a market down the street we got a lot of good things, the beach was nice, and we did the boat trip which was amazing. I recommend it if you’re looking for maybe not the most expensive but a good enough stay for memories and nice weather.

Good hotel for the price, not sure what people are expecting for what they paid. As with most all-inclusive holidays, the food got a bit repetitive after a week but that's obviously to be expected. There's a snack bar next to the pool bar and another one on the far end near the air hockey tables which served the usual chips, toasties etc. Location wise its a quiet area, there's a club nearby called Tiffanys which is open till 5am which we frequented a few times so is a good spot for twenty or thirty-something's. Pool area is good, and they have games etc on for the adults i.e. water polo. At night within the hotel you can sit downstairs at the main entertainment or there is a bar upstairs near the reception which I believe is for adults only. Staff are pretty friendly, biggest gripe is outwith the hotels control which is people that think they can just stroll up to the bar and be served before a queue of people. Usually from a certain part of Europe, most will know where. A few pubs available nearby too for the football.

100% get what you pay for but Jesus!! The place was awful food was awful the smell in the restaurant was digusting the table clothes don’t think ever been changed for the season. We had police army with shields in at like 1.30 in the morning again the next day. My son got stuck in a lift took them ages to come over and get him out lifts broke daily. My son had his shoes nicked not once but twice. Had to go home with no shoes. Check in and staff are so rude! Had to report an incident that happen in the middle night needed security no one was interested left my daughter very scared. Only postive is the beautiful beach. Would never recommend this place to anyone .
