Club Cala Romani

This was my first time at the hotel with my partner and loved every minute of it and can't wait to return . Please ignore all the bad reviews this is an excellent 3 star hotel. The staff work non stop and the Irish girl is a credit to the hotel. Already looking at coming back next year

The staff, although people complain about them are fine! No issues with the people who work here 😊. However, my issue lies within the rooms, I didn't expect a luxury experience hence the three stars the hotel itself has, but what I did expect (which is a satisfactory experience) was not met at all. The floor drain in the bathroom is atrocious. Whenever anyone in its vicinity on the ground floor uses it, the room which we stayed at immediately got the overpowering odour of feces, which was unbearable at times. We had to have the doors to the outdoors open most, if not all the time. The food is alright for the three star hotel review, it's average. I'm gluten-free free, and i found things to eat, picky eaters have easy, simple food to eat, there's food for vegetarians. Overall in the food department there's not much else to complain about. Even in october there's a lot of people, which isn't the hotels fault, but the restaurant did become incredibly busy!

This was my first time at Club Cala Romani. I came on my own with my three children (16,10,3) two of which have additional needs. I have to say I was very impressed. The hotel is a 3minute walk into the local town, it is a small town but has a few very good bars that has entertainment on most evenings. There is a brilliant atmosphere around the hotel from morning to night. Everyone was really friendly. Staff were amazing, especially Bethany who made us feel so welcome and was more than happy to help with any queries. The hotel itself caters well for children with the kids club running during the day providing entertainment for the children and also activities to do for older kids and adults. There is also family entertainment every night in the entertainment hall. We stayed in an apartment which was more than suitable for us. The cleaners were around every morning and were more than happy to provide what we needed I.e extra pillows and toilet roll. The over all cleanliness of the hotel was good, I feel this is helped by the cup system, no food allowed at the pool and the pool area being cleaned every evening. I read mixed reviews about the food but honestly I’ve had no complaints especially with my youngest who can be a picky eater at times. There is a large selection to choose from with different options throughout the day between the restaurants and snack bars. Over all myself and the kids have had an amazing holiday and will definitely return.

Just back from a fab holiday. Can't recommend this hotel enough. Great for families especially. Hotel kept spotlessly clean by all the hard working staff every day. Staff really friendly and food is great. Just a few mins from town and a fabulous beach. Can't wait to come back

We took our two young grandsons away for a week in this all inclusive hotel. Yes it’s a 3 star hotel but we will never return. Staff are rude and abrupt, not one was happy. Rooms are very basic and smell of damp, lighting is really bad in the rooms, and only one mirror in the bathroom , no mirror in the room. Aircon is so bad, we went in October so didn’t really need it but if you were here in the hotter months then you would struggle. I think the hotel has 400 rooms but the amount of people in the hotel is crazy. Breakfast, lunch and dinner was absolutely crazy, the amount of people in the dining room was overwhelming and so noisy, we could never get a table so had to go outside and wait for a table to become free, i have never seen so many people go crazy for food, it was like feeding time at the zoo, absolutely crazy. The pools were quite nice but absolutely freezing so the kids couldn’t go in them. The pool bar area was mental too, there was just queues everywhere, and the plastic cup system is a joke, you can’t even have a glass in the evening. The cleaning standard is very low in this hotel, we saw a couple of people being sick around the pool area and it wasn’t cleaned up for a long time, the toilets around the pool and inside we’re disgusting, blocked toilets, no toilet roll, no door locks, sick in the sinks, the list goes on. There area itself isn’t very good either, we normally stay in palma so lots of shops and a nice long beach but here there is a few shops and bars at the end of the road and a tiny beach area. We were absolutely gutted with this hotel, yes it’s 3 stars but surely the cleanliness could be better and politeness costs nothing. There was quite a large selection of food but all very bland and repetitive. I was sick on one day after having a burger. I would avoid this hotel unless you’re there for a piss up on watered down drinks and a cheap getaway. NEVER AGAIN
