Es Port

We had a week at Es Port Hotel and we loved it. The location, staff and our room were excellent. We had bed and breakfast. The breakfast was superb, enough choice for everyone and friendly staff. Our room was perfect and the cleaners were amazing. Pools were lovely, there was a large amount of Americans over for a wedding and 1 particular one was crude, loud and completely vulgar. He was absolutely awful and seemed to appear wherever we was. We had lunch by the pool a couple of times. We didn’t eat in the restaurants in the evening because we wasn’t best pleased with the lunches. The pizza at lunch seemed like a cheap frozen one and bolognese was flavorless. There are plenty of lovely restaurants to walk to. The location is great we grabbed the tram to Solle which is a lovely town with lots of independent shops and restaurants. When we just checked out the lady on reception was a miserable moo. All she kept asking was if we’d had anything overnight from the minibar and didn’t once ask us if we’d enjoyed our stay. I think she’s in the wrong job. I would definitely stay here again. We chartered a boat from the port for an evening trip which was lovely and watched the sunset.

This was our second visit to the Hotel Es Port. The food, surroundings and accommodation were all first class. We did have an issue with the Air Con but this was sorted out quickly and efficiently by Kristina. We were there on a B&B basis. The breakfast has something for everyone. We did eat in the hotel restaurant one night. It was nice to try and the food was very good but we really didn't need 3 courses! We ate out on the other nights and there are plenty of fine restaurants within easy walking distance. There were a couple of small drawbacks, no hanging space and little storage space in the bathroom and we also had a lengthy wait to get served in the outside bar one night so it only gets 9 and a half out of 10. It hasn't stopped us booking again for next year! This is a lovely hotel with great staff and a superb location.

Just enjoyed 9 days at this wonderful Hotel which is set in extensive lush gardens yet being minutes walking distance from the centre of Soller. Excellent dining with numerous options superb staff all seem happy in their jobs and want to please and provide a good service. We had a junior suite which had a good balcony with views of the bay.

We stayed at Hotel Es Port for four nights and paid approximately €1,350 for a standard twin room. Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. Upon arrival, we were shown to a very small room in the old part of the hotel. It was very quiet, which was the only positive aspect. The room consisted of an entrance hall, a small bedroom and an outdated bathroom. Although we had specifically booked a twin room with two separate beds, the room contained only a small double bed that sagged badly in the middle. An extra bed had been placed in the hallway next to the door. We immediately returned to reception and explained that we had booked a twin room. We were told that no twin rooms were available. This was surprising, as rooms in the same category still appeared to be available for booking on the hotel's website. Despite asking several times during our stay, no alternative room was offered. Unfortunately, we never felt that our concerns were taken seriously, and the attitude of some staff members suggested that our complaint was viewed as an inconvenience for the hotel rather than a genuine problem. In addition, the air conditioning did not work on our first night, making the room uncomfortably hot and resulting in yet another sleepless night. Although a technician fixed the problem the following day, this should have been checked before guests arrived. As a result, one of us had to sleep on the extremely hard extra bed in the hallway, while the other struggled with the sagging mattress. Neither of us slept properly during the entire four-night stay. The room itself was far from what is advertised on the website. The description mentions “spacious” and “very light rooms,” but our room was neither. It was dark and enclosed, with no proper windows. The only openings were the entrance door and the bedroom's French doors, which could not realistically be left open during the night. Fresh air and natural light were therefore very limited, leaving us without any view. The bathroom was outdated, with a very small sink, virtually no storage space, and a shower-over-bath with a shower curtain. The hairdryer provided in the bathroom was also not working. At check-out, the hotel waived the cost of the drinks we had consumed at the pool bar as a gesture of goodwill, which we appreciated. However, this did not resolve the issues we experienced during our stay. Given the price we paid, we expected much better. While the hotel grounds are attractive and the location is pleasant, the room we received did not match either our booking or the hotel's description. Combined with the lack of a suitable solution from the hotel, this significantly affected our stay and resulted in four sleepless nights. To put our experience into perspective, we stayed in another hotel in Port de Sóller immediately afterwards. Despite being significantly less expensive, it provided everything we had expected from our stay at Hotel Es Port: comfortable beds, effective air conditioning, a functioning hairdryer, excellent service, and a room that matched the booking. The contrast was remarkable.

Hotel es Port it absolutely beautiful with stunning grounds and amazing customer service, all staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating it was the most seamless stay we have ever had at a hotel! We had a superior room and it was perfect with a lovely view from the balcony. The breakfast was delicious with a different selection every day from a range of pastries to pancakes to cooked breakfast and especially loved how you could make your own freshly squeezed orange juice! The pool area is also great with a nice big pool and the style of the umbrellas is a nice touch to make it a luxe experience. Will definitely be returning 🙌🏻
