I stayed at this hotel and it was the worst experience of my life. I can genuinely say this as I am a travel agent of 25 years and have waited a while to post this review. I had terrible food poisoning and and the staff had a scam of stealing personal possession’s whilst cleaning the rooms and putting the items into the cleaning carts and using the staff elevators to abscond. The family in the room next door caught the cleaner doing this as we were both going into our rooms at the same time as the cleaners were there and chased her into the lift and tried to get in and I went back into my room and found items missing. We went to the manager and were told simply to file a police report. Nothing happened afterwards.

DO NOT EAT HERE! I want to start by saying I am not a fussy person, especially when I booked a last minute cheap holiday 2 days before I departed. So this review isn’t just a nit pick. Upon arrival we were greeted by 2 lovely ladies at reception, they were so welcoming and happy. We had a laugh signing in and were offered a cold buffet as it was so late we had missed dinner. The rooms are small but clean and comfortable and are cleaned and beds made daily. The beaches and views are some of the most beautiful I have ever seen! The entertainment team are brilliant and so friendly. They made it really enjoyable for my kids and husband 🤣🤣 The fridges in the rooms are empty. You’re not supplied with bottled water, you have to purchase it for €2.60 per bottle. The safe key is almost €50 for 1 week and you only get €10 deposit back. You get the usual Pepsi, 7up, coffee, tea etc on all inclusive but any other drinks are chargeable. Although it’s all inclusive, it’s still expensive and seems to be a cost for everything. DO NOT EAT THE FOOD On our first full day my eldest was stung by a jelly fish (obvs no one’s fault) but after seeing the local doctor and coming out from the chemist (£130 less) we bumped into a couple that warned us about the food as the man had spent 3 of their 4/5 day break ill in his room from food poisoning, vomiting, dihorrea and severe stomach cramps. The chemist had actually told them that they get a lot of customers daily buying sickness tablets and hydration tablets etc. So after that we were weary and literally kept to chips, rice and pasta (it’s been a long week food wise!) BUT Thursday night, I woke up with the most excruciating stomach cramps and proceeded to be sick for the next 3 hours. It takes a lot for me to be sick, my husband has only ever known me to be sick once before in 20 years together. The whole of the next day was a write off, spent in the room missing the sun and not making memories with my kids feeling so poorly and aching so much from all the wretching and for the rest of the holiday every time I walked into the restaurant I just felt sick and couldn’t eat much. Then 2 nights after I was sick, my son was knocking at my door at 1am to check I was ok as he thought I was sick again. Turns out someone in the room above us was being sick and continued to do so until around 3am then Believe it or not, once she finished, you could hear someone else start to be sick! If you read reviews or speak to staff they blame it on weather changes or other things. It is nothing else other than the food! For me only eating chips, rice and pasta, it shows there must be some kind of cross contamination of food. It is ruining a lot of people’s holidays. I’m lucky I was only sick for half the night! This hotel does have the potential to be a 4* but it is not a 4* I’d say 2* right now

The hotel is very “Benidorm” I have no idea where they get 4* from it’s a strong 2* at best ! So aside from the men in crop tops & the masculine women with beers walking around it’s not that bad the views are good but the food is not. After getting the worst food poisoning of my life lasting 2 days with me projecting vomit across the hotel room like something from the exorcist which ruined my entire holiday & at times I actually wished I was dead. Last but not least the hotel transfer that says “hotel entrance” which to me says lobby .. oh how I was wrong, if you are not standing in the middle of the car park waiting for your transfer you will be left with a €80 bill to get you to your flight home. If anyone ends up in my situation go to the doctors or your holiday cover doesn’t mean anything. I would not recommend this hotel or even love holidays for this trip.

3rd time @ Globales speaks for itself, despite some stormy weather it didn't deter my enjoyment at all, location is beautiful, views amazing, food plentiful, hot, fresh, tasty and always something to suit any palette, everywhere in hotel is immaculately clean, rooms attended daily & spotless, all staff are friendly, polite and smiling all the time and the majority of staff have been here for the last 3 years and are a credit to the Globales brand so a big applause to you all, beach & shops on doorstep, wish i could have stayed another week, but have left totally relaxed will certainly be back next year and looking forward to it already.

My partner and I went with another couple. On arrival we were all very happy with our rooms and the look of the hotel and it's beautiful views. The bar/pool/cleaning staff are very friendly. The reason for the low mark is that one by one we all became ill with sickness and diarrhea with terrible stomach cramps and headache which made you lose 3 days of your precious holiday. When reporting to reception they tried to say it was the change of weather!, There were many others telling us they had the same, I think some kind of investigation is needed to find the cause. Food was always cold, we stopped eating and ate out. Holiday ruined, please try and do something about this as would have been a great holiday otherwise.
