Globales Don Pedro

We stayed the first week of June. The hotel is situated next to a beach ideal for snorkelling and the views out to sea are beautiful. The hotel is modern and has the right balance of relax and chill during the day with a bit of entertainment in the evening. This is a great hotel for couples looking for somewhere to relax and enjoy the island away from the busy parts of the island and on a bus route to nearby towns.

3/5 Stars We’ve just returned from a stay at Globales Don Pedro in Cala Sant Vicenç. Overall, the hotel itself is good and the location is absolutely stunning, but unfortunately the food let the experience down significantly. Pros: • The location is beautiful and hard to beat, with incredible views and easy access to the beach. Short drives to Pollença town and port. • The rooms and hotel were very clean throughout our stay. • The staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. • There are some fantastic local restaurants nearby if you fancy eating out – we particularly enjoyed La Tasca. Cons: • The food was very bland and felt quite cheap, with limited variety and little choice compared to other all-inclusive hotels. We only ate our dinner at the hotel twice during our 7 day stay. Not worth the money spent on all inclusive. • There were no labels on the food, which made it difficult to identify dishes and ingredients. • Dirty plates and cups were frequently found in the restaurant. • Restaurant service was often slow and appeared understaffed. • The snack bar menu available to all-inclusive guests was quite limited, and some items were removed during our stay without the menu being updated. • The restaurant floor was extremely slippery at times; unfortunately, we witnessed a lady fall and injure herself. • Our bathroom sink was leaking on arrival. To be fair, this was reported and fixed promptly. • Alcoholic drinks for all-inclusive guests seemed watered down, and the cocktails were particularly poor. Overall, we enjoyed our holiday because the setting is so beautiful and the staff work hard, but the food and drink offering needs significant improvement to be up to a standard of a 4 star hotel. We would consider staying again, but only on a bed and breakfast basis, allowing us to enjoy the excellent local restaurants instead.

Should be five star. Beautiful peaceful location. Professional cheerful staff, nothing was too much trouble. Spa and gym experience great. Food was imaginative and plentiful. Highly recommended.

The hotel location is its best selling point, I highly recommend booking a room with a sea view because the view is stunning. The Don Pedro is very clean and attractive if you like very modern style hotels. My room was fine (with an amazing view from the balcony) and I had no issues with it at all. The bathroom was clean and attractive too, with a good power shower. Usually there are a reasonable number of sun loungers available around the main pool, on the large patio or on the sun roof, which also has a plunge pool. The main pool is a good size and has a pool bar next to it. The food at breakfast and dinner is typical International Hotel fare, of reasonable quality but I’ve had better at similar hotels elsewhere in Majorca and around the Med. There is entertainment each evening starting from 9:30pm. This I have to say was of variable quality (the Motown act was excellent) but one singer from another act who thought he was a bit of a comedian used the F word several times, which given it’s a hotel with several elderly guests is in my opinion unacceptable. The other issue I had was you had to pay €40 to use the in room safe. Why? This has always been free at other hotels I’ve stayed at, including ones of the same standard as the Don Pedro. People have paid a lot to stay at the hotel, they shouldn’t have to pay extra for this. However, all in all I enjoyed my time at the Don Pedro and would return again.

Poor luxe room the price is overrated Clean but they have problem with water issue they make you pay for to rent the safe ???? The food was very flat Over 20 years I have been in Majorca this hotel was the worst one.
