Brilliant and the rep named michel was fabulous

I stayed in the Janiero Hotel in July 2026 for 3 nights. The location was approx a 20 - 30 minute walk from the centre of Ca’n Picafort. There were afew local souvenir shops near by but very few places to have a meal near by if you wanted to eat outside of the hotel so be prepared to make the trip into the centre. The hotel was spotlessly clean inside and out and the staff were attentive and friendly. We were All Inclusive. The meals were all buffet style, there was plenty to choose from, however it was very much the same choices at each meal and therefore monotonous. What was supposed to be hot food was only ever tepid - warm. There was a small outdoor snack bar 10 -6 pm in which you could get sausages, burgers, chips and fruit. Again the food was always tepid. There was no ice cream for the children throughout the day outside of meal times. The hotel did not appear to cater well for children. We were in room 226. The beds were comfortable, we had a pool view and a fridge in the room. The rooms were serviced each day. There was a safety deposit box which came at a cost, which is unusual as these are often free of charge. The balcony was small but lacked an outdoor light. For some reason the shower in our room was at waist height and to use it you needed to take it from the wall and hold it whilst showering, which was very awkward. The shower also leaked . The bathroom was very small and had a sliding door which stuck regularly, there was no lock on the door, it did not remain closed whilst you were in the bathroom as the door slid open which was embarrassing and there was a lack of privacy. Had we been staying longer than 3 nights we would have complained and asked for a room change.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel! Everything was great, but the biggest highlight was definitely the animation team. They do an amazing job organizing activities throughout the day, and the entertainment is truly outstanding. For children, this place is like paradise. There are so many fun activities that they never get bored and always have something exciting to do. The animation team is energetic, friendly, and genuinely cares about making every child feel included. The hotel itself is very clean, the food is delicious with plenty of variety, and the staff is always welcoming and helpful. The atmosphere is perfect for families, and thanks to the incredible entertainment program, parents can also relax while the kids have the time of their lives. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling with children. We would definitely love to come back!

This hotel is in a good location for a few gift shops, a couple of bars and the beach. It is labelled as a 4*...it is not this ...a 3* more appropriate. The rooms are very clean and we had a pool view which seemed a bit larger than the standard room as it was a corner room (339). Keyless entry to the room is good but you have to pay for the room safe and pool towels. (Quite expensive) We were on an "All inclusive " board to which we can confirm the food areas were clean and hygiene was good. Food variety was poor...lunch and dinner were the same; with the buffet not being sufficiently replenished so items were often not available. The food was often luke warm and not labelled correctly. The snack bar which is open 10 till 6 is poor with the burgers hot dogs and chips cold. Breakfast was ok. That being said my wife who is very particular when it comes to food was able to find enough food to eat at mealtimes. The bar was available during day from 10am up till midnight, but not sufficiently staffed with long queues and some of the staff were not customer focused and friendly and didn't seem to want to be there. However a special shout out to Amber who bucked the trend and was always helpful and had a smile on her face. Overall I would mark this a 7 out if 10 and personally if you are looking for something cheaper to take the family then this may be an option. If ur looking for a quality hotel with excellent 4* service and food, it is not. Unfortunately I will not be returning and honestly would not recommend.

Lovely hotel, great breakfast ,hotel clean. Staff working incredibly hard and all friendly and always with a smile . Special thanks to the two lads, Michael and Moises, the entertainment team, as they went all out to give everyone a good time . Every day, they were at their best, wonderful with all the children there, and found time to talk to guests . For myself and my husband, they made our stay at your hotel a very happy and memorable one . I also spoke to other guests who were singing there praises . Well done Michael and Moises .
