I firstly have to point out the hotel from Palma Airport by coach is a 1 and half hour transfer. The hotel is rated a 4 star but based on the coldness of what is meant to be hot food and the lack of entertainment it to me should be a 3 star rating. The hotel staff are amazing the hotel management are liars and change rules all the time.If you want a sunbed you need to be up before 8am to join the queue. If you don’t use the sunbed within 2 hours they remove your towels charge 4 euro per towel to get a replacement. When I booked was under the illusion I could use there sister hotel for lunch, drinks and pool and entertainment.Well pool yes no food at all and have to pay for drinks.Lots of German people use this hotel and all we have meet are lovely not many British people .The beach is okay not fantastic and if you want a Sunbed you pay on the beach. Its a 20 min walk into Can Picafort where the shops and nightlife are .There are 2 bars next to the hotel that have live music at night if needed.I personally will not be going back to this hotel..

Booked this hotel as a last-minute week away with a friend who had already booked, and I’m really glad I did. We arrived just before 1pm on Friday 28th August for a 7 day break, and I was allocated a room on the 3rd floor overlooking the pool. I was immediately impressed with the room — clean, comfortable and functional, with everything I needed for my stay. We wasted no time making use of the pool area and the all-inclusive drinks. We didn’t go for the Gold Band option, but there was still a great choice available. One thing that really impressed me was that throughout our stay there were always loungers available, so there was absolutely no need to get up early and rush down to reserve one. Both pools were a good temperature. I had read reports before travelling that the top pool could be too hot, but I certainly didn’t find that to be the case. The food was another big positive. I thought the range and quality available in the restaurant was excellent — plenty of choice, fresh and really tasty. In fact, at the end of the week I made a point of congratulating the chefs in the hot food area for consistently providing such good food. There really is something for everyone. And the red wine on tap was pretty good too and went perfectly with dinner! The restaurant staff were always friendly and seemed to work with a smile on their faces, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Tables were cleared quickly, meaning there was always plenty of space for everyone. We spent a couple of evenings around the pool watching the entertainment, which was enjoyable without being over the top. There’s no loud music after around 10:30pm, which was great for getting a good night’s sleep. There was also no loud music around the pool during the day, which made the pool area a relaxing place to spend time. I honestly felt that nothing was too much trouble for the staff, whether it was at reception, housekeeping, in the restaurant, or the staff serving food and drinks around the pool. Everyone was friendly, helpful and welcoming. The location is also great — just a short walk to the beach, with the option of walking along the seafront into town. Overall, I had a fantastic week and would happily stay here again. For a last-minute booking, I really couldn’t have asked for much more. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I have really struggled with how to approach this review. We had such a fantastic stay here last year that we decided to return, particularly because the hotel had catered so brilliantly for our daughter, who is coeliac and dairy-free. Unfortunately, the hotel has changed ownership since our last visit and there are some noticeable cutbacks, which have changed the overall experience and, in our opinion, made it feel more like a 3* than a 4* hotel. The biggest asset remains the staff. They work incredibly hard and the majority are friendly, helpful and genuinely keen to assist, always with a smile. Our comments are absolutely not a criticism of them. Our main disappointment was the restaurant and the cut backs in the handling of dietary requirements. Last year there was an app showing daily menus, including ingredients, a restaurant manager who showed us around the buffet each evening, and all dishes were clearly labelled with allergens. This year, no restaurant manager, no app and although dishes were labelled with allergens, the labels didn’t always match the dishes, which made us uncomfortable about what our daughter could safely eat. As a result, we relied on gluten-free pasta or pizza for her dinner every evening (which she did thoroughly enjoy). Lunch was even more limited, with very little choice beyond chips, rice, salad and fruit. One chef did kindly take us around the buffet, but there was still very little she could eat. At breakfast, we were given some lovely gluten-free pastries and cakes, which our daughter loved, but after waiting 45 minutes to speak to the chef, and with staff clearly very busy, we eventually gave up waiting to see if there were other options. There was also some confusion over ordering gluten-free pasta in advance. Reception told us it wasn’t necessary, only for the restaurant to tell us that evening, it should have been ordered in the morning. On the positive side, the hotel is spotlessly clean, there were always sunbeds available and the food was generally of a reasonable standard. The rosé wine was very good! The all-inclusive cocktails were quite frankly - vile - but this wasn’t a major issue for us. Our rooms were nice and well furnished but the bathrooms definitely needed updating. One other point: if requesting a street-facing room, be aware that our daughters were initially allocated an accessible room with no balcony, despite us not requesting an accessible room (my daughter does have a learning disability but she is completely mobile). We were told it was the luck of the draw - Reception did move them when we asked, so this was resolved. It is genuinely disappointing that our experience wasn’t as positive this year, particularly after such a great stay last year. Everything was resolved for us but it would have been lovely if there had been nothing to resolve! Based on this visit, I wouldn’t recommend the hotel for anyone with specific dietary requirements.
