We stayed at Hotel Globales Maioris in October and would rate it a solid 3 out of 5. Although the hotel is classed as 4-star, it really has more of a 3-star feel overall. The food was okay — nothing to rave about, but most guests could find something to eat each day. The snack menu was limited and quite repetitive, with self-serve salad, dry burgers, and overcooked, bland sausages served with slices of bread. The self-service soft drinks were a nice touch, though a shortage of plastic cups meant lots of disposable paper ones were used — not very environmentally friendly. Our room was basic but clean and well maintained. Housekeeping came daily to change towels and replenish supplies, but the bed sheets were not changed each day — unsure if that’s the new standard practice. There was a small patch of mould on the bathroom ceiling that could use attention, and the beds were quite firm. During our stay, the heating control didn’t seem to make much difference on cooler evenings, though the duvets in the wardrobe were handy. The staff were pleasant and helpful overall. However, it did feel at times that French guests received slightly more attention than British visitors — perhaps because there were no UK travel reps present during the week. One highlight was the free hotel shuttle service to local attractions — a convenient and appreciated feature. Overall, it’s a decent hotel for a short stay, but if you’re expecting 4-star luxury, you may find it a little underwhelming.

Its not a 4* more like a 3. 45 mins from airport. Roughly. Arrived and hotel is at end of a road in middle of nowhere. So if you're looking for nightlife this isnt the place. A supermarket and a few restaurants at the top of either side of the road but that's it. Checked in ok. Was on first floor above the restaurant. All steps to get to the room unless you take the long route with ramps which is essential with cases and a pushchair. Takes about 10 mins from reception if you take this route. Had to take elevator with buggy and cases but the lift is very quick to close its doors and doesnt have an override to prevent closure. Rooms are big enough but the bathrooms DO NOT HAVE ANY LOCKS on, which i found very odd. Spacious enough but are a bit outdated. TV in room but only bbc2 available in english. Balcony decent size. Safe and small fridge in room and air con. But doors and walls are paper thin. Can hear everything up until 1am when people come back from the entertainment and bar closure. Evening entertainment vary scarce. A 10 min kids disco at 20:30 and bingo at 21:30 which isnt amazing. Cabaret and other acts on at 22:30 which realistically too late. Breakfast starts at 0800-1000 which is probably the best meal we had. Lunch 1300-1500 which was same old stuff. Chicken, pork and fish and salads and same old desserts. Dinner time is 1900-2100 which is too late imo it should be from 1800 especially if you have children. Dinner time. Same menu. Do not go here if you have fussy eaters or allergic to fish. Not too much choice for kids. (We did go end of season, which may be why there was a limited menu but at least change something) A lot of visitors are french and German, so be prepared for that, they seem to get looked after more. All inclusive snacks are woeful. A handful of dishes and salad bits. Drinks like slushies are full of syrup. Absolutely awful. Cheap beer and alcohol. Pepsi and pepsi max were ok but rest is local supplies. (Yes its all inclusive, but it tastes cheap, feels like a rip off) Small shop in hotel. More of a gift shop, selling usual holiday memorabilia. Food items well overpriced in shop. €2.50 for a can of coke and €4 for pringles to name a few. Small playground and amusement arcade for kids which has seen better days but ok for what you pay. Swimming Pools are not heated. Same as jacuzzi. One temperature throughout. Ok when you get used to it but not good for youngsters as it gets cold quick. My youngest 2 couldn't enjoy it and refused to go in which was a shame. Lifeguard always around though which is good to know. Kids club also on site but didnt use it. Same for gym. Looked dreadful. A handful of machines to use if that's your thing. We Didn't use it. Some staff very helpful. Some not so much. Would've probably been more helpful if I spoke French. Went at the end of season as I said but feel this hotel is the same all year round. Paid £3500 for a weeks stay. In my opinion, £1000 overpriced for what we got. Shame. Won't be returning.

The hotel itself is great, the rooms are lovely, clean and a great size. It is in a great area with restaurants, shops and the beach within walking distance. So why the 3 star review? The dining situation can only be described as chaotic, 2 hrs to feed the whole hotel for evening meal with no control over seating turns it into an absolute free for all. There is no matridee or employee seating people or making sure there is at least enough tables available, one evening families ended up standing up to eat, and there where people queuing outside by the poolside holding plates! Despite being all inclusive, we ended up eating out to avoid the chaos, as did a number of other families...not what you expect when you have basically prepaid for your meals. If the food situation was sorted I would return but in it's current state an absolute no go.

This was the worst all-inclusive hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The food was awful with very limited options — mostly pork and hardly any variety. There were no kid-friendly meals like chicken nuggets or chips. The snack bar was the same every day, just burgers and sausages (often without burger buns). A lot of guests were disappointed. When we arrived late at night around 11 p.m., all they served was bread — ridiculous for an “all-inclusive.” No complimentary water in the room, and you even have to pay for a kettle. Rooms were very basic, and the restaurant was always overcrowded, making it hard to find food or a seat. The manager was extremely rude about my autistic son, telling me to “control my child.” I explained he’s not an animal, he’s non-verbal and autistic, but she was dismissive. After that, we mostly ate in our room to avoid embarrassment. Overall, this place is nowhere near four-star quality — poor food, rude management, no inclusivity, and zero value for money. We were so glad it was only a three-night stay.

We are at this hotel now and i have lots of positive comments which i will do at the end of stay, but day 1 and they have run out of ice cream, all inclusive with 2 under 8s, come on guys you must have known its half term !!
