Stayed at this hotel from the 8th till the 20th this 12 day holiday break was booked last year because it was to cover my retirement, wedding anniversary and my 66th birthday. When we arrived at the hotel and booked in we had to pay the tourist tax that's ok I then asked if you have to pay for the safe in the room, they said yes asked for how many days I will be staying, I said 12 and the price was 80.35€ but the reception staff seemed to embarrassed to say so they just turned the monitor screen to face me. I got a shock at the price but I like using the safe because I don't have to carry everything around with me so I payed it and was told that I will get 10€ deposit back, if you convert it it's looking like £61 for the 12 days. Went to room and unpacked we then went to the bar for a few drinks, when I we got to the bar and ordered I was asked for tokens or wristbands as I don't have any I was told that you pay. I know that I will pay for any drinks I have, as I am on half board. This happens again at the main bar, the lifts are very slow and iffy the panel inside the lifts says 6 pers 450kg but at times if you have 4 people in the weight warning goes of so someone has to get out , the sign outside the lifts says 4 people only. Because no one asked me what I wanted to drink at the evening meal on the first night we saw people getting soft drinks from the machines in the restaurant but in hind sight I should have realised it was for all-inclusive only but I got half a glass of coke and lemonade before I had just sat down the waiter was saying that you are not allowed free water only, But they will let me off this time. After that it's was seemed like they were watching me all the time. After this we just went down for breakfast and evening meal and then leave and not get anything else. As people said the dragin of furniture anytime day or night banging of doors gets very annoying when you are trying to sleep. All the signs say please keep quiet after 11pm . It's looking like this hotel is more interested in all-inclusive guests and not half board guests like me. If this is the case then they should say in their promotion information that this is the what guests they want. Conclusion, would I stay here again sorry but no, when I have payed over £2000 for this holiday, I don't want to feel like I am not welcome to be there. Again the price for the safe is very high as if you look online some hotels don't charge or the price is half. I have been using half board now for the past 10 years and never had any problems going to the bar and getting drinks just here .
My wife and i went to this hotel last year (2025) and had a great time so we booked for this year .The hotel is clean and well represented and the staff are polite and cheerfull. But this year the hotel was invaided by large hen parties and birthday groups .These groups were loud ,day and night and took over the dinning areas and pool areas there was constant noise all the time due to them all being drunk . Shouting in the corridors at 2 and 3 in the morning .We will not be coming back again .We aired our disapointment to jet 2 also.
This is the 2nd time since last year we've visited this lovely Hotel. Last year with our son and again from the 27th to today 30th with our granddaughter in room 211. It's absolutely spotless, food was lovely, so much to choose from. Wonderful staff, always smiling, helpful and very hardworking. I'm so shocked at the negative reviews sometimes . All I can say is please ignore them. Absolutely brilliant! We will be back. Margaret, Stuart and Chantell.
We stayed for 8 nights from the 10th April n an AI VIP package. On arrival the hotel reception was busy with a large group of golfers. Staff did a really good job of checking them in and moving swiftly to us. Room wasn’t ready, no problem. We changed into our swimwear that we packed in our hand luggage and headed off to the VIP area. We were pleasantly surprised to see what was on offer! Red,white, rose and Frexneit Cava, alongside beer and fruit, pastries, toasties and pizza. The area was cleaned and replenished often. Definitely worth the extra we paid. We were given our room around 2pm and were surprised that it had a sea view! All in all we had a great stay. We went out and ate at nearby restaurants and also for drinks. Oh, on the VIP basis, top shelf drinks are sometimes included such as Baileys. Hubby had a few Barcelo runs which cost a few Euros extra. Would we stay here again? Absolutely!
Just coming to the end of my 4th visit to this hotel, and sadly it will be my last. Firstly, do not turn up here with kids expecting a family-friendly environment. The hotel has started accepting guests of any group size, and as a result, the pool area can get very loud, often with very drunk travellers, which really changes the atmosphere. On a positive note, the breakfast and snack bar are awesome and definitely a highlight of the stay. However, the evening food is pretty much awful and a big step down in comparison. Service has also declined — around half of the staff look like they really don’t want to be there and can come across as quite rude, which is disappointing given how welcoming it used to feel. I’ve had many great trips to this hotel over the years, but sadly it now feels like it’s turning into a bit of a free-for-all. These are just my opinions, and I appreciate everyone’s experience may be different.
