Globales Palmanova

Visited for the 3rd time in October for my birthday. We brought our adult granddaughter. We love the staff, food and cleanliness of hotel. We were in Vip for the first time. Not sure it was 100% worth the extra for what we got. It was a birthday gift off our sons. It was pleasant having private adult area, and enjoyed premium drinks, although we don't drink that much. We love the place and would certainly return, however I have to admit that we were disappointed that after jet 2 putting a note on our booking, informing you it was our 3rd visit and that it was my birthday that there wasn't even a small gesture or card to acknowledge the occasion. I'd even emailed the hotel prior to the stay. I'd given the same information and requested a lower floor due to mobility issues. We did get a room on 1st floor, so thank you for that. Small gestures for returning guests would go a long way 😊. Thank you for a lovely stay though. Hopefully we'll be back next year

This is the worst hotel I have ever visited. Paid extra for the VIP service, but not worth the money. Didn’t receive premium drinks which were supposed to be included because we were given a wrong coloured band at check in because they had run out of the correct colour. It was only because another visitor explained to us and then we had to produce our room key to prove we were entitled. There are two lifts in the hotel one of which was hardly ever working through our trip(10 night) we heard of at least 3 people being stuck in there during our trip. Being on the 6th floor with walking difficulties it was terrible to get up & down to the bar/ dining/ entertainment area. Going back up was worse as the only working lift prioritised the lower level & only 4 people were allowed in the lift. At busy times you could be waiting over 10 minutes for a lift. The bar was covered by 2 staff members and half didn’t speak any English. One older Spanish lady was very rude and slammed drinks down on the bar. Also you are only allowed 2 drinks per person so if you do have children you can only get you a drink & your child. The food was also not good for a four star rated hotel. It was never hot all luke warm, but if you like chips & pizza for breakfast, lunch & dinner you would be happy. I only ate in the hotel & ended up having to go to hospital with stomach related issues. If you suffer with any disability the pool lift is not working, so you cannot get in & out unless you can manage ladder steps. The rooms were cleaned every day if you wanted , and clean towels provided. Not the holiday I expected from a four star rated.

This hotel is located in a good area for the beach and reaching the nightlife. Rooms are sufficient as is the food and drink on offer nothing special nothing bad. The pool token system is a bit tiresome, also we found that if you were not out of your room early the room wouldn’t be cleaned as ours was not done once during our stay. This hotel for this time of year was ideal and we had no higher expectations staff all seemed to be friendly and had no issues. Not sure VIP would be worthwhile if doing it. All in all for the prices paid the hotel meets them exact basic needs, nothing special nothing bad.

Just returned from a one week stay at the Globales Palmanova. Stayed here before, see my previous reviews. Overall a good visit. I will list positives and negatives for us during our stay. Positives - Location. Cleanliness. Good Staff. Good Food. Negatives - Room safe 51 euro for a week (to be paid cash only!) Freezing cold pools. Mature guests falling over drunk around the pool bar during daytime were still being served alcohol, no control, and disturbing for other holidaymakers. This is a good hotel, mainly for the location for us and consistency of the food. For these two reasons we will probably visit again at some point.

Been going for 5 years now and have always enjoyed it! We had a few issues but nothing that the amazing reception staff didn’t fix. Food is okay if you’re open to trying new things. I would recommend more variety such as chicken nuggets for children, hash browns at breakfast. I always choose to go VIP, a lovely private area with own refreshments, would like more variety as everyday is pizza and toasties, would be nice to have some chips and burgers to switch it up! Cleaners come in daily although most days our room wasn’t cleaned until 3 which meant no daytime naps. Overall you pay for what you get, I personally will be returning, great area for a hotel, right near shops and beach. Received lovely fruit platter and wine from hotel for our 5th visit, fantastic little touch. I would recommend going VIP
