amazing staff, Charlotte was very funny and lovely everyone was so welcoming. Julen and flavio were also amazing will 100% be coming back they made our time here. Will be very sad to leave!

This was our 3rd visit to glabales palmanova. We always have the VIP, comfortable loungers with thick cushions. Snacks and drinks whenever you want them. Whirlpools (one not working properly, needs attention). Since our visit last year there has been a screen put up on the gate (down to the pool) I'm assuming this is to stop people who haven't paid for VIP area putting their hand over to open the gate. Unfortunately it makes it difficult when wanting to go down to the pool area because there is no place to put your key card whilst you go in the pool. There needs to be some sort of small lockers for key cards. If you don't take your card with you then you can't get back into the VIP area from either the steps or from inside the hotel. This needs a re-think. Our first 2 nights we had nightmare neighbours, very noisy, shouting at early hours of the morning, 1.15 the first morning, 2.15 the second morning. Then they left. (We thought the next lot of neighbours would be better) No! we got some just as bad for the rest of our stay! We paid extra this time for a pool view (we normally have mountain view) the balcony is not private on that side of the hotel. Prefer mountain view. I left a bikini top on the balcony when we left, when I realised at the airport I rang the hotel reception and asked if they could pass it on to our friends that were still at the hotel. Our friends asked for it several times but they never got it. Despite the noisy neighbours and loss of my bikini top we had a lovely week. We have booked again for next year (4th time). We will hopefully get a mountain view room and quiet neighbours. (Corner room would be nice). Food - there's always a variety and something to suit everyone. Rooms - not available until 2pm (which we know from previous visits) so if you arrive early like us then pack your beach/pool stuff on the top of your case so you can grab it easily. Hotel - great location, out of the back gate and you're 2 mins walk to the main strip/beach.
