Globales Playa Santa Ponsa

Location is great a few minutes from the beach, shops, cafes, restaurants are plentiful in the area. I arrived around 1am given room but it was a single, I had booked and paid for a twin for sole use. being so late I just stayed the night and went to reception in the morning. Room was changed with no problem after showing the booking. Not the biggest room you would struggle with 2 people in it and a tiny balcony. Food very repetitive not hot, the better food was at the Playa Park across the road but told I could only eat there at lunch time. Didn't use the snack bar so can't comment on that. Not enough outside table and chairs, I have to sit in the shade so I struggled as I cant sit on a sunbed. Some of the staff were a little miserable but on the whole they were friendly and helpful. I did find the cost for the safe (considering it's an AI Hotel) extortionate, 40 euros for the week. I stay HB in many places and the safe is free! Entertainment, not great when it's on. Says it starts at 10pm after bingo (didn't see any bingo) one night I left at 10.15 and the entertainers were only just arriving. Not sure if there was any daytime entertainment as I didn't see any while I was sat near the pool. A fridge in the room would be helpful as you cant get water alongside a drink as you only have the one tumbler per person for a drink. So if you buy some at the shop it's warm in the room. Soaked the bathroom on the first night as it was a walk in shower with a shower curtain, no mater how you tried the water was out of the cubical, so had to hold the shower head in your hand. You could see there had been cubical doors previously but just replaced with a curtain. It was very clean, plenty of cleaners but I wouldn't stay again because of the food and the cost of the safe which is a lot when you are solo

i would like to say that its was a great hotel and my kids loved it, very clean but the food was always the same and wish there was a kettle in the room, and we booked a boot trip with them and they left us standing the the heat with 4 adhd kids and they forgot to put it on there computer

Find it shocking all inc And you have to pay for water If you want a pint if there lager there charge you only 1 drink per person very limited food cold even if you go when restaurant has just opened food still cold all Inc means local drinks which this clearly doesn't entertainment all in German iv enclosed price list for drinks no food to be removed from restaurant even when you have sick elderly person who unable to get to restaurant my first and last time at this hotel
