Grupotel Gran Vista & Spa

Being greeted with such enthusiasm and a genuine feel they want you to enjoy your stay is always a great start to any holiday! Pleasing was how that was maintained throughout our stay. The room was fresh and clean. It has some quirks, such as the glass bathroom door which can be offputting for some me thinks but the shower always produced hot water at all times of day. Have stayed here before and was pleased that the water flowed away this time. They seem to have put a lot of extra effort in for kids this year. Plenty of fun activities and even an acrobatic pirate show. Know it early in the season but never found finding a lounger hard. Helen at the Spa is a lovely lady as are the facilities on offer. The gym is basic but the spa pool is relaxing and clean. Pleased to see that the steam and sauna rooms were working reliably. Had a lovely massage. You can get cheaper locally in town but nice to just stroll back to your room after. The food is plentiful and with a broad range to satisfy most. Quirky at times (runner beans/peas available for breakfast?) You can have a pot of coffee at breakfast but if you prefer cappucino, etc then expect a wait as only limited machines given the amount of people. The hotel is a reasonable distance from the town/beach but bear in mind everything down hill from the hotel so harder going back. The local beach is a delight. Can paddle a fair way out. Sadly a lot of seaweed along the shore line which is off putting. The evening entertainment is unlikely to ever appear on BGT but is what it is. Usual faire of song/dance/magic and themed. Overall a nice place to stay. Shows its age in places but it well maintained and above all has such friendly staff. I would recommend the bistro/pool bar. Nice food and very reasonably priced.

Staff were friendly, food was good and hotel was clean and fairly well located. Bed however was so uncomfortable that it affected our holiday plus the air conditioning was inadequate. Hate to be there in high summer!

This was the second time at this hotel.great location, with an easy five minute walk to the beach,bars, restaurants and shops. All the hotel staff are amazing, friendly, helpful and efficient, whether they were in reception,restaurant, bistro and spa etc. I had a spotless room, with balcony and view of the sea, well maintained on a daily basis. The extensive buffet breakfast/dinner excellent. The facilities inside and out? Brilliant! Amazing value for money. Great for families, couples, and singles of any age. I hope to stay again soon.

Chosen by my wife purely because of the photos we saw, we weren't disappointed with what the hotel had to offer and it's perfect location as far as we're concerned. A very friendly atmosphere very clean and a comfortable room. We wouldn't hesitate to return.

Location very central atmosphere was very friendly and quiet rooms were very comfortable especially the beds and cleaned every day value for money was excellent great breakfast
