Grupotel Gran Vista & Spa

The hotel was very nice and the majority of people were friendly with the exception of the front desk. On check out I requested that my bill be stamped as paid and the man on the front desk was in my opinion very rude. He told me not to worry about it in a surly manner and before I could speak he called the next person forward. I had paid in cash and had no way of proving I had paid. I thought this was a reasonable request. In the 20 years that I and my have visited this hotel this was the first time I have had an issue.

Just came back from a 2 week stay - we had 2 rooms. It was ok but not great. The room was nice and clean with a pool view. Our children had an inland view room and the balcony never got any sun but they didn't mind. The bathroom had a glass door with a gap at both sides and no lock so didn't feel very private. The aircon was below average. The room never felt cold, barely cool. I did query this - they sent out maintenance but they said it was working as it should. I asked for a fan but they don't provide them. The bed was incredibly uncomfortable - so hard. After a few days I spoke to reception and they gave me a mattress topper - it did help a little. Breakfast was fine with a good choice, although the orange juice was very watery. Lunch in the outside bar was lovely with a decent choice and great service. Never ate dinner in the hotel so can't comment on that. Entertainment was typical hotel entertainment - although the evening cinema by the pool was a good hit with my children - and headphones were available in 3 languages. The pools were well maintained. I was always up early and by the pool - there was always cleaning and maintenance first thing. It was easy to get a sun lounger - no 7am rush although I didn't think the sun loungers were very comfortable - a bit basic. The location of the hotel is good. 5/10 minutes to the beach and a short stroll to some nice restaurants.

Great food, great staff and facilities. Plenty of sun beds. Grounds immaculate.Pools clean and kept well. Entertainment OK.Only complaint. Adults and children in pool way after the time they should be out, noisy and irritating. Staff should be around to stop them. It appears some rules are for some not others. Would visit again.

We had a wonderful holiday here. The hotel is close to the sea in a touristic and lively area. The staff was kind and friendly. There are lots of pools. We felt great here and I truły recommend this place to every one.

The hotel was very very nice to stay at, the different pools and activities really were refreshing. The different foods at dinner also helped that it didn't become boring. But my highlight was definitely the animation team! I wanna just shout-out Lotte,Julia,Gioia,Indi,Andrea and Alem for doing such an amazing job by handling all the kids and activities all at once and even multilingual! If you have younger kids, definitely worth!
