Grupotel Playa Camp de Mar

I didn’t stay in the hotel but attended the bar which is part of the hotel. The service was slow, food was good but my friends and I had a bad experience with the staff, one person in particular who seemed to take a dislike to us for no apparent reason. We had food and drinks but as there were about 10 of us, wanted to combine some tables but he didn’t like this, he moved us to a less attractive area , we weren’t too happy about this but complied. Then we wanted to move a parasol to a more favourable place and that wasn’t allowed either. Anyway, we had our food and drinks and moved on. Next day we turned up again, despite the poor attitude, this time he didn’t like where we parked our bikes and indicated that we could leave them outside in the street, which was unacceptable to us as they were out of sight. Hence we went elsewhere, the loss to this business must have been huge. 10 of us and another 20 arrived later at another bar, an average of 3 beers each = 90 beers plus potentiallly food and, had they been more accommodating, we would have returned the following 2 days. Shame, this bar is in a great spot but spoilt by one staff member who doesn’t understand customer care.

The hotel is lovely and its setting amazing..when you enter the hotel you have this most amazing view of the sea and the swimming pool area. The views from the hotel are idyllic. The hotel is spacious, clean and the food out of this world. We had half board and the breakfast and evening meals were delicious. The reception staff were very helpful as were the restaurant staff and cleaners I would recommend this hotel

Our 2nd time here. Travelled with Tui. Great value for money 11 day half board stay. Thoughtfully refurbished rooms with plenty of storage, comfortable bed and bedding, walk in shower, plenty of hot water. Fabulous food choice both at breakfast and dinner. Friendly staff who are chatty if you want and equally efficient. Plenty of sunbeds, even if you arrived mid morning. Evening entertainment was varied and mostly very good quality. Bar prices for drinks very reasonable. We had a Seaview room with great views of Camp De Mar. Had a super time, no complaints.

Loved the resort and Gruphotel was excellent! All the staff were brilliant, so friendly. Would definitely go there again. Entertainment first class too

Just back a few days ago from Playa Camp de Mar after having a great holiday.Food fabulous and Catering Manager couldn’t do enough for us,Waitresses very efficient and smart too.Got a very nice room which had a stunning ,sea view too.Pool was lovely and Jacquzzi too .Pool bar staff so happy and friendly too.Towels provided for pool too.which you don’t get everywhere!.The Adults only made it a peaceful break to relax in the sunshine without any distractions too.Made a few friends too.The rooms were cleaned everyday and maid service excellent too.The evening entertainment was brilliant with a wide selection of performers,who got people up dancing and enjoying life to the full.Felt comfortable and safe there too,which means a lot nowadays.Havent got a bad thing to say at all.Was a lovely trip.Thanks to all the staff who work there.I would definitely go there again,which I don’t normally do.Beach and shops and fresh Fish restaurants all nearby too and a bus away from other places too.I can honestly say I got a great vibe from the first greeting when we walked into the Reception which was as it carried on throughout the week!Lovely resort.smooth sandy beach and I got swim in sea with no stones to clamber over to get in.Lush!
