Grupotel Playa Camp de Mar

Great location and the meals were excellent ( plenty of choices ) the staff were very friendly, on a downside the sun beds + cushions + the small tables were very dirty they had not been cleaned in a very long time this needs to be addressed.

Our nine night stay was enhanced every day by relaxed atmosphere, beautiful scenery,good food,attentative staff,evening entertainment, comfortable rooms and never a problem securing suitable sunbeds. I applaud the management of this hotel and look forward to another enjoyable quality holiday secure in the knowledge rhat for us Grupotel Camp De Mar is an excellent choice.

Great hotel, food and service. We booked a day trip to the caves of Draco. It’s an all day trip and includes a market and a pearl factory. We were picked up at 0815 and dropped off at 1830. Unfortunately the visit to the caves lasted about ninety minutes. My point is a whole day out of our week was used up for a ninety minute visit to the caves. The market and pearl factory were basically to fill the day. Just be aware that the trip to the caves is a whole day. That’s my only negative. The hotel has excellent amenities, it’s very clean, very friendly and the food is second to none.

My wife and I visited this hotel for two Weeks from end of August 2026. The hotel is clean and well kept. Food for us was poor but plentiful. No help with cases ie no Porter help in arrival. Lifts constantly fail, we were on 6th Floor and several times had to wait 15 minutes before the lift stopped at our floor. It was impossible to even try to obtain a sun bed round the pool. I counted approx 110 sun beds when there are a maximum of over 500 holiday makers at this hotel at peak time. Wonderful beach, again so difficult to get a sun bed, the sea is lush even if there are currently little fish biting you. This hotel is 3.5 star at best.
