HM Ayron Park - Adults Only

All the staff, without exception, were friendly and professional. My room was a bit dowdy and I couldn't open the curtains or the door as I would lose my privacy. Shower was excellent. I had no balcony and the terrace was not covered or private. I don't like the fact that, after you've booked, they then give you the option of paying a lot more money to choose your room location. No remote control for the aircon meant having to get out of bed to adjust it. Hotel food was drab and not of a very good quality. The main pool was ok but there was the nauseating smell of frying from the burger van at one end of it. Burgers!! Why no good quality tapas or Mallorcan food? The local area doesn't have nice shops and restaurants. It is not very Mallorcan as it is mainly for other EU tourists. A very short walk to the beach which is also ok. Restaurants again are a bit below par.

Stayed at HM Ayron Park for 5 nights. Room was spacious with efficient air conditioning and good shower, but was quite basic, definitely not 4star plus as categorised in the brochure and most certainly not the 5 star official rating. The area wasn’t to my liking. Some staff were reluctant workers and feel this a failing on behalf of the management as they are left unsupervised. Not at any point during my stay did I see any managers doing rounds to check things were running smoothly. The only time we saw the Manager was when we made a complaint for having waited an hour for our lunch (asked twice and told it was coming) which was only 3 toasted sandwiches and even after that the order was incorrect. The Lifeguard/pool attendant was supposed to be present from 10 am to hand out fresh towels, but was quite often late with a queue forming and then he barricaded himself in behind the towels and sat chatting on his phone. Didn’t see him get up from his chair unless he was replenishing the towels. The pool had sand at the bottom even at the start of the day - not sure if it was ever cleaned during my stay. Although dinner was until 9.30 pm, the staff would appear to believe this means start clearing everything away just after 9 pm, so they can be out of there just after 9.30 pm. The roof top bar according to the app on our first two nights was open until midnight, but when we went to use it one evening the bar was shut and there were a few people sitting at the tables in the half light, soon after a security guard told us we had to go it was shut, when we complained the next day about the Sky Bar being shut, the timings were miraculously changed to closes at 9.30pm, which makes no sense as most people wouldn’t use it before that time as they would be having dinner.

We stayed at the Ayron Park for a week and left refreshed and rested The service was excellent and friendly and the facilities super particularly the 7th floor and 8th floor pools and bar are a great place to unwind and relax. Always a place to sit, a table, a sun lounger when you wanted it.

I had a great stay at HM Ayron Park Hotel. The location was excellent, and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was exceptionally clean and tidy. Although it wasn’t completely soundproof, I still had a very enjoyable stay.

Location fabulous if you want somewhere very young and lively. The hotel itself is not five Star. However it’s a very nice hotel we paid extra for junior suite. It wasn’t that big but a bit more spacious than a double room views were not fantastic just overlooking other apartments. The breakfast and the evening meals were very nice. I’m used to a lot wider selection but it was very nice. The only criticism I would have is there was only two young members of staff that would smile and interact with us. The rest of the staff looked very miserable. Also one of the swimming pools had the double beds you could Sunbath when we were told some people can reserve and it’s also first come first serve. we got by the swimming pool at 4:45pm one evening and there were quite a few double sunbathing beds spare so I said to the lifeguard if I could go onto one of them and he says no they are reserved, I said what even at this time and he said yes I cannot go on them . and then 10 minutes later too young Spanish ladies asked if they go onto the beds and he yes that’s absolutely fine so that wasn’t very nice. Yes, I may be English but my husband Spanish and there’s no need to discriminate..
