Iberostar Selection Albufera Park

We stayed at Albufera park with our 3 year old and 3 month old for 5 nights and would highly recommend the hotel. The splash park, daytime and evening entertainment were a massive hit with our 3year old. The onsite inclusive ice cream parlour is an excellent perk. The rooms are beautifully decorated, modern and clean. Beds are very comfortable and large enough for extra little visitors. The kids trundle beds are fun and super convenient. Food exceeded our expectations. I was pleasantly surprised at not only how good the selection of dishes were at the buffet but how good the quality of the food was. We did initially have some trouble booking the à la carte restaurants due to lack of availability via the app but the lovely Christina with guest services helped us secure bookings in both the Greek and Mexican restaurants which really made our trip. The food at the Mexican was excellent. All staff were extremely kind and friendly. We will certainly return.

Had a nice week here. Nice hotel on the beach. Food generally good in buffet with decent variety. Drinks and service good. Not too many complaints overall but just a few points for improvement. There are other spanish, greek and mexican restaurants onsite but they are hard to get a reservation and dont really cater well for kids. Biggest issue by far is the freezing pools. Pool temp may be OK for blazing hot summers but theyre too cold for April and need to be heated. Rooms are quite small but obviously they cant change that. Last thing would be the price. Though generally +ve, still very expensive for what is on offer. Due to that do not plan on returning

Excellent week as a family of four. There is plenty for the children to do and loads of pools for guests to spread across. The children's pool can feel busy but you can choose alternatives. Food was brilliant with huge choice. Would happily go back or try one of their other hotels. We stayed in a premium family room which was spacious.

We visited this hotel in May 2026, and it was our first holiday as a family of three, as we were travelling with our 9-month-old baby. Everything about this hotel couldn’t have been better in making the holiday one to remember for all the right reasons. The hotel is fantastic — it is clean and has great food options. The buffet offers a great variety, with a different theme each evening. The tapas restaurant was lovely, as was the Mexican restaurant. The location is also very good; there is a supermarket directly across the road should you need anything. It is close to plenty of places to visit without having to travel for hours. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. Nothing was ever an issue, and the bellboys were very helpful with all the luggage. The maids were also particularly friendly and left a few lovely touches in the room. The rooms themselves are excellent and finished to a high standard. The on-site ice cream shop was particularly popular with my wife! You receive a towel card when checking in and can exchange it for a clean towel whenever needed, so there is no need to worry if you forget to pack a beach towel. The rooftop areas at the hotel are very impressive and provide a great spot to relax where it is quieter, and there is also a pool there. There are a number of self-service areas around the hotel where you can help yourself to soft drinks, tea, coffee, or even a beer during the day. The main bar is excellent — very spacious — and also showed live sport during the day and in the evenings if you enjoy that. The only downside was that the weather was not great during the week we visited, so we did not get a chance to use the pool with the baby. However, the facilities for children looked fantastic, and all the kids using the pools on site looked like they were thoroughly enjoying every minute of it. The direct access to the beach from the hotel was fantastic and provided an idyllic photo opportunity, especially on the deck. The entertainment and evening activities for children were second to none. While we were there, the hotel had an open-air cinema in the evenings, complete with popcorn and headphones that allowed you to listen to the movie in whichever language you spoke, which I thought was a particularly thoughtful touch. This hotel proved to be one that not only met our expectations but exceeded them significantly. We have already started looking at revisiting next year when our son will be older and able to appreciate everything the hotel has to offer, and we cannot wait.
