Iberostar Selection Playa de Muro Village

(+) Iberostar Playa de Muro is an amazing place for family with kids! It has many things to offer: a lot of entertainment for kids, swimming courses (for an additional cost), good entertainment program for adults, sport activities (my special thanks to the Ukrainian girl Katy, who gave full body workouts in the mornings and in the evenings), amazing ice cream cafe very close to the hotel, L’artista restaurant (pasta and pizzas). Housekeeping team was doing a very good job. We asked to clean our room at the specific hours and it was done perfectly on time. (-) On the negative side, outdoor pool is cold. Even the hotel personnel noticed that it is colder than sea in the middle of May. Secondly, if the hotel positions itself as a sport hotel, it would be great to have more healthy food options. It would be nice, if the entertainment team speaks better English with children. It is pity that L’Artista restaurant is closed during some time in the afternoon (but open at 13:30 though).

This is our 3rd visit to the hotel and it just continues to improve. Special mention to Andres, Pepe, Juan and one of the female managers in the restaurant who all remembered us as returning guests. They were so attentive to us and were great with the children. Andres in particular went above and beyond. We are a family with 3 children- aged 7, 4 and 2 and one of the only downsides is the max capacity of their rooms is 4 so we had to get 2 rooms- these were very far apart so we all stayed in one family room which is very generously sized. We were allocated a lovely room overlooking the smaller pool with the water slides. Food as always is fantastic with plenty of choice for breakfast and dinner. We stayed half board on this stay and there are plenty of places nearby for lunch - although none quite as nice as the food in the hotel. We did go to the burger place in the hotel a couple of times which is lovely. Thanks again for a great stay

We are a family of four with kids aged 1 and 4, and we stayed for 8 nights. This is the perfect hotel for families with young children. Everything is tailored towards families — entertainment, water slides, and loads of daily activities. The animation team was incredible and so sweet with the kids. In fact, every single employee we met was lovely with our children. The staff genuinely seem happy working there, which was really nice to see. A special mention goes to Andrea from Guest Services. We eat vegan food, and during the first few nights we found great starter options but the mains were a little limited. After mentioning this to reception, we found a personal letter from Andrea in our room. She arranged for a special vegan menu for us every evening, and a chef personally brought a vegan dish to our table each night. Andrea is a real asset to this hotel. The Healthy Corner snack bar is excellent too — delicious vegan poke bowls, fresh healthy smoothies, and great street food. The reception and luggage staff were also extremely welcoming. We completed check-in with a glass of fresh juice in my hand while my toddler crawled around on the floor. The receptionist actually kneeled down beside us while I was playing with my son and completed the forms there, which made everything feel so relaxed and convenient. Rooms were cleaned daily and the minibar was restocked every day too. The location is fantastic, with an amazing beach nearby and close to Fun World, where our 4-year-old loved the arcades and bouncy castles. Normally we spend most of our holidays out exploring, but this time there were days we never even left the hotel grounds because it truly has everything you need. We have never returned to the same hotel two years in a row before, but we will definitely be booking this hotel again for next year.

My mother, daughter and I had a wonderful week away at Iberostar Playa de Muro and it was exactly the relaxing break we were hoping for. The hotel is in a beautiful location right on Playa de Muro, and the beach was absolutely stunning — clean, peaceful and perfect for long, relaxing days by the sea. The pools were also lovely and well maintained. The only small downside was that they would have been even better if they were heated, but thankfully the indoor pool more than made up for this and gave us another great option to enjoy. What really made our stay so special was the exceptional customer service throughout the hotel. Every member of staff we encountered was warm, welcoming and genuinely helpful, and it made such a difference to the overall experience. A special thank you to Andrea in Guest Relations, who was so friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. Abdul was incredibly helpful, Pepe was always so positive and enthusiastic, and Valeria was consistently kind and welcoming. Mustsfa was also extremely helpful, and Gonzalez at the egg station was wonderfully patient every morning and always greeted us with a smile. The food was exceptional throughout our stay, with plenty of choice and consistently high quality. Every meal felt fresh, varied and well prepared, which really added to the overall experience. We had such a relaxing and enjoyable week away, and so much of that was down to the excellent service from the hotel team. Iberostar Playa de Muro made our mother-daughter trip feel truly special, and we would happily return.

We have just come back from a lovely week away at Iberostar Playa de Muro and it was brilliant! It was my husband and I and our 18 month old who absolutely loved it. The location is perfect, it right on the most beautiful beach and then only a short drive to some lovely towns like Alcúdia, Pollenca which are great to explore. The team were so friendly and made our little one feel very welcome, the food was great and a good selection of non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks. Would highly recommend!
