Iberostar Selection Playa de Muro Village

My mother, daughter and I had a wonderful week away at Iberostar Playa de Muro and it was exactly the relaxing break we were hoping for. The hotel is in a beautiful location right on Playa de Muro, and the beach was absolutely stunning — clean, peaceful and perfect for long, relaxing days by the sea. The pools were also lovely and well maintained. The only small downside was that they would have been even better if they were heated, but thankfully the indoor pool more than made up for this and gave us another great option to enjoy. What really made our stay so special was the exceptional customer service throughout the hotel. Every member of staff we encountered was warm, welcoming and genuinely helpful, and it made such a difference to the overall experience. A special thank you to Andrea in Guest Relations, who was so friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. Abdul was incredibly helpful, Pepe was always so positive and enthusiastic, and Valeria was consistently kind and welcoming. Mustsfa was also extremely helpful, and Gonzalez at the egg station was wonderfully patient every morning and always greeted us with a smile. The food was exceptional throughout our stay, with plenty of choice and consistently high quality. Every meal felt fresh, varied and well prepared, which really added to the overall experience. We had such a relaxing and enjoyable week away, and so much of that was down to the excellent service from the hotel team. Iberostar Playa de Muro made our mother-daughter trip feel truly special, and we would happily return.

We have just come back from a lovely week away at Iberostar Playa de Muro and it was brilliant! It was my husband and I and our 18 month old who absolutely loved it. The location is perfect, it right on the most beautiful beach and then only a short drive to some lovely towns like Alcúdia, Pollenca which are great to explore. The team were so friendly and made our little one feel very welcome, the food was great and a good selection of non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks. Would highly recommend!

Special shout out to Andres from the restaurant team and Gaby in the Kids team for really going above and beyond to make our stay special. Wonderful hotel that has everything! So clean, lovely staff and amazing food. We went in April and there was a huge number of activities for adults and children including a kids club. There was treasure and dinosaur hunts for kids, mojito making, soap making, bag making and burger cooking to name a few. The facilities were outstanding including water slides, amazing pools and additional little details like a free laundrette on site. Beautiful hotel and location right on a stunning beach. Just book it you won’t regret it!

Stayed here for a week with family and grandchildren... Can only compliment the hotel on the quality, the staff, the service and its facilities... a very good higher end 4* property. On the beach and lots of options for kids to do. If I have one negative it was that the Beach/Pool bar Embat was closed,.... this was not mentioned on booking, on web site or at check in... However the on site team responded immediately to my questions and they advised that it closed after the high season... They did offer a very generous evening meal at their Gusto restaurant as a gesture... this was more than I expected... This meant that your lunch options were more limited. However, aside from that we all felt it was a great place to stay with kids and adults alike... I can image high season is super busy, but mid late Sept would be perfect. Thanks to all the staff.

My friend and I stayed for a week in September at Iberostar Selection Playa De Muro Village Hotel in the Superior Double room for Solo use, which was lovely. We overlooked the restaurant which was nice. From the day we arrived we were treated really well, as soon as we got to the hotel we were offered nice cool face towels and a welcome drink, both much needed after a long time travelling and it was over 30 degrees Celsius. My friend and I were staying half board, our rooms were lovely and clean, I did have ants in my room when I arrived and asked for them to be dealt with which they were by Margarita, the cleaner the next day. My balcony light didn’t work either which was shame as it got dark by 8pm The location of the hotel is stunning, lovely pools to choose from, quiet areas to have a chill out and perhaps a pre dinner drink while looking out to Alcudia bay/beach. The beach was stunning and crystal clear water with small fish that come right up to the shore. Also beautiful pine trees to shade under when it got too hot, and Balinese beds for hire if you wanted. We were lucky to be given a Balinese bed to relax on one afternoon as a kind gesture from the staff, which was a lovely surprise. The food options were excellent for breakfast and dinner and all the staff were lovely and kind and you could see they were happy in their work and proud of working there. The bread section needs labelling so you know what breads choices there are, the ingredients and if they are gluten free or not. Everywhere was kept nice and clean. The entertainment was good, the flamenco dancing was excellent and the children were all kept entertained in the pre school club- there were only preschool children there when we stayed. Plenty of local restaurants,supermarkets, pharmacies, buses on the main road at the front of the hotel. The only negative I had was the that when you had a shower the clothes and bedding would get damp as the cupboard for the clothes is just opposite the shower/ bathroom area, so I had to put some of my clothes out to dry on the balcony which didn’t take long and also the morning we left to come back home, it was about 7am when we checked out but the young man at the reception should have greeted us with a smile and been a bit more welcoming in bidding us goodbye or ‘ Thankyou for staying with us, please come again ‘, but he hardly said anything, cut off our wrist bands and that was that, I guess he’d been up all night?
