Iberostar Waves Bahia de Palma

Stayed here the last week in June , we have stayed here before and it never disappoints. From arrival to departure we loved our stay . A welcome bottle of cava on ice and a card personalised . Beautiful sea view , sunshine each day , gorgeous room , a great choice of food every day . Everywhere is spotless , cannot rate this hotel highly enough , except to open all year and let us have the opportunity to to share Christmas there A special thank you has to go to Chrysoula. Her fantastic personality and desire to make your stay the best never ceases to amaze . She is not just a member of staff who goes over and above , She has become a friend , thanks Chrysoula

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for three nights and we absolutely loved everything about it. - The staff were lovely, helpful, cheerful and very accommodating. By staff I mean all of them, at the reception desk, the cleaning/room service staff, those serving at the restaurant and the bar and the swimming pool attendants. In particular, Chrysoula at the reception desk was super helpful and friendly and she made us feel so welcome. - The room was lovely and had everything we needed and the sea view was breathtaking. - The breakfast was amazing with a huge variety of quality and delicious food. - The location was great, with direct access to the beach, 10 minutes drive from the airport, 20 minutes drive from the old town and a bus stop just outside the hotel. I wouldn’t bother looking at other hotels next time I go to Majorca.

We visited as our first ‘hot’ holiday together and we were throughly impressed, nothing was too much to ask. Agnes kept us busy with different activities during the day or just a chat by the pool, she’s an angel. Cris kept me topped up with passion fruit mojitos and was a pleasure to see on the bar everyday. Suki kept our tables clear during our delicious breakfast and dinners, such a beautiful soul. Magda and the housekeeping team changed our room everyday and left us sweet gifts from the hotel almost daily, such a lovely touch with Brut, chocolates, sweets and one day a lovely flower. Ricardo was the main highlight of our stay, I did almost cry when we said our goodbyes to him, nothing was too much and he genuinely cares about you having the best time with the hotel. We’re already planning our trip next year for a longer stay.

We stayed at the Iberostar Waves Bahía de Palma for 10 days in a first-floor room with a terrace overlooking the pool. While the hotel itself is clean and in a good location, our holiday was unfortunately affected by a lack of enforcement of the hotel’s own rules. Despite the hotel promoting a non-smoking environment, there was frequent smoking and vaping around the pool area and from adjoining balconies and terraces. As our room overlooked the pool, this became a regular annoyance throughout our stay. We were also concerned to see guests drinking from glass bottles and glasses in and around the Sky Bar pool area. On several occasions, rowdy behaviour in the jacuzzi made it difficult for other guests to relax and enjoy the facilities. What disappointed us most was the apparent reluctance of staff to address these issues. When concerns were raised, staff seemed unwilling to approach the guests involved, leaving the impression that the rules applied only on paper. We also found some staff members dismissive and unhelpful when we attempted to discuss these matters. The hotel has many positives, but a more proactive approach to enforcing its policies and responding to guest concerns would significantly improve the overall experience.

Perfect location for the beach, food absolutely amazing, and I mean so so good, staff super friendly, maid service is super good, you get little gifts lest on your bed most days. Hotel has a really nice bar at the front facing the beach, if you tell them you’re staying in the hotel you get 10% off. Downside, rooms small, we paid for a superior room and it was just like a normal hotel room, only 2 English channels on the tv, they were all German and the 2 English news channels that we did have, only worked for 2 days out of the 7, which of course we didn’t go on holiday to watch tv but it’s nice to flick it on after a siesta. This is just general info: none of the pubs, bars, restaurants, including the hotel itself, sell cider/kopperberg or similar, which for me was very disappointing as it’s the only thing I drink. Overall, we loved the hotel even though the room was small, the restaurant staff are exemplary, the food amazing as I’ve stated and pool activities good, very friendly management too.
