Iberostar Waves Cala Domingos

Romina, our room maid was superb. She cleaned quickly & thoroughly every day at convenient times to us. Changed towels when needed & left chocolates. The hotel is amazing, clean, peaceful, all staff very happy, polite and ready to help. Food is excellent, so much choice, and the drinks. Plenty of sun beds & places to sit. Entertainment has been perfect, not too intrusive & finushed by 10pm. Overall this hotel is best experience i have ever had.

The staff here work incredibly hard but at peak season when the hotel is at full capacity, it is not a relaxing experience. Sunbeds were reserved each morning, so unfortunately you need to play the game too as there are simply not enough. The second pool nearer the beach is in need of modernisation and repairs….especially the metal steps. The main restaurant is chaotic, stressful and noisy. The Mexican is a little better but still a buffet, just beach location. We upgraded the room on arrival as the original bungalow was so small for 2 adults and 1 child. There are no internal doors in the bedroom apart from the toilet cubicle. There is zero chance of privacy. Quite often there was no hot water available. We used the bus stop at the hotel to leave the complex as we needed to escape at times. The buses are fantastic, unfortunately there is nowhere to walk to from the hotel.

The experience was fantastic. We had an amazing stay. It’s a bit cold already in October, for next time I would prefer to come earlier because you can not swim

Great location lost to do for the hole family,very clean, staff where supper friendly and accommodating.food was the high light !absolutely brilliant

It was our first time in an all inclusive hotel because wanted everything to be as easy as possible with a 3yo and a baby. The food was great for a buffet, especially the grill. Unfortunately, there were occasionally very long ques to get the food, especially after the mexican restaurant closed in mid-September. We took the biggest room (50m2) so that would get a separatistien bedroom and a living room. We were shocked to find out that there was no door between the two rooms and that they were also connected with the bathroom, which didn’t have doors in either ends! Also the shower was open and actually opened up to a hallway. Absolutely not a single space for privacy, not even in the shower! Atleast the toilet had a (glass) door. Very strange arrangement for a family hotel (which it definitely was, couples, avoid this hotel). Pool areas and the beach were very nice and the shuttle service worked out fine.
