Iberostar Waves Ciudad Blanca

Stayed between the 4th-12th May.First of all when we arrived we were told there would be a cot in the room none of these were there had to ask 3 times and eventually got after being firm with them.Room had a sewage smell from sink and they came up and sprayed air freshener which only masked the problem. Room had also an infestation of aunts. Lastly on Mon the 10th of May my wife took ill and called a local doctor who took her to.hospital and blood test revealed samonella. I Spoke to manager and he played it down to say it was viral when blood tests revealed bacterial...Manager said he would be in contact and never heard a thing. I took ill last night also,we were that disturbed we booked a flight home 2 days early. No response from hotel. I thought the reception staff were very rude.the manager should of filled in a incident form. I will be in contact with jet 2 with a complaint and if needed legal advice through a solicitor

Upon entering our room we found the bathroom sink blocked,  toilet fully clogged and not flushing,  when flushed it pumped human waste through the bath which was also clogged. We reported this and got told an engineer would be across to fix it. No apology and we made to feel like this was our fault. We then came back five hours later to the same problem still waiting to wash after the morning flight, apart from the engineer had drained the bath nothing else had changed. We went to reception to complain, and showed them the video and were told to wait again for the engineer to come and fix it again, this 5 hours after his original visit. No apology, from management. We asked for another room only to be told this was unavailable due to being fully booked, until the reception spoke with the engineer who said it would take until tomorrow to fix. The staff then miraculously found another room overlooking the car park not the room we had booked and chosen direct. Room 6215 which we are currently now staying in. We have attached a video, off the bathroom five hours after the original engineer visit. This is not good enough from iberostar.

It was a nice experience, but if i have to talk about something, i must talk about Antonia the maitre, she was so gentle with me and my family but the most important she was so professional.

I would like to highlight the outstanding work of Antonia, the second maître d’ / assistant head maître d’, who made our experience truly exceptional. From the very beginning, she demonstrated professionalism, elegance, and genuine hospitality, paying attention to every detail and ensuring everything ran perfectly. Her experience, leadership, and dedication are clearly reflected in the atmosphere of the restaurant and the high quality of service provided. She handled everything with confidence and warmth, making us feel welcomed, comfortable, and truly valued throughout the entire evening. Without a doubt, this is high-level service that deserves recognition. I highly recommend this place and especially congratulate Antonia for her excellent attention, professionalism, and outstanding management skills.

I went a few days with my husband. I love it. The beach, the workers, the experience. In especial, Antonia the maitre, so kind and profesional. We will.comeback soon.
