Iberostar Waves Ciudad Blanca

A week all inclusive October half term with my family. About a 45 minute coach transfer from the airport. A very warm welcome was had upon arrival, welcomed with a chilled glass of cava and an unrequested, free room upgrade. Hotel holds a fantastic position right on the beachfront. Beautiful white, sandy beach boasting clear, shallow sea which was much warmer than the hotel pools, even at the end of October. At this time of year, at the end of the season, we found the hotel and resort area relatively quiet and as a result had no issue finding sun beds at any time of the day. Lovely walk along the beach front to shops. All inclusive aspect was very good with plenty of choice and something to suit everyone. Freshly baked rolls and bread every meal time, dishes well replenished. Omelettes and fried eggs cooked fresh to order at breakfast. Pasta,rice, salad bar,and pizzas available every meal time. Fresh fruit and delicious deserts also on offer. Staff polite and friendly. Found the free hotel towel hire very handy, particularly as we travelled with only small carry on luggage. Cocktails and sangria in the bar/lounge area were really good, made with branded spirits. Our room was clean, tidy and simple with a great pool/ sea view. Rooms serviced every day (beds made, clean towels, if required), which was much welcomed. Hotel a little dated. Outdoor areas clean but somewhat tired and in need of refurbishment to bring it up to date. Some stylish, comfortable, quality tables, chairs, sun-beds, sofas would be a big improvement to the outdoor areas. Only ‘put off’ was a whiff of sewer now and again at the food truck area at the garden area near to the beach and sometimes coming up onto the balcony. Myself and husband suffered many bites which were very painful and itchy. All in all, a very pleasant week enjoyed by all. I would recommend this hotel to families with young children with its great beachside location but I won’t return only because my children are now adults and we would prefer an ‘adults only’ hotel and also due to our experience with the mosquito bites.

The reception staff gave a brilliant welcoming, including our bags being g taken to our room. We requested a room with a sea view (when we booked). There was a water dispenser on every other floor(so as to replenish your water bottles,also in the main bar & poolside bar & 2 areas in the dining room. This hotel is spotlessly clean Wherever you go. Every member of staff from every category of job description was just so friendly and helpful . The staff all work extremely hard at there jobs & go out of their way to help & please you, nothing seems too much for them. The food is Amazing, so, well done to all the kitchen (Chefs, etc). A big Thankyou. There was food from different countries & it was all cooked well & presented beautifully. I would like to mention Lobo in the main bar lovely man. Also in the restaurant a young man Ayhnjrub hopefully I'm spelling his name right & Maria. Not forgetting Carolina whom I believe is a member of management. Thankyou all for a Wonderful holiday. See you all in 2026. The hotel has 3 pools 1 being a children's pool. Entertainment for everyone of all ages. The beach is fabulous. There is a bar on the beach if required. We hired a car from across the road to the (left of our hotel) on the corner. As you will see there is a lit of shops ,bars,restaurants & over the bridge a pharmacy. If going out to the right of the hotel on the otherside of the road there is also shops,a pharmacy ,a bar called The little Foxes run by a lovely man from Leicestershire. Walk a bit further on & there is a Lidl's & a bit further on from there(if you're needing petrol/diesel fir your hire vehicle)on the right there is a petrol garage. We would definitely recommend this hotel. It is not too far from Alcudia Old Town. Getting ready to book for our stay next year.

Absolutely amazing holiday from start to finish! Greeted with champagne for the adults and ice creams for the kids, staff were amazing throughout our stay, food is next level something for everyone, my kids are fussy eaters and they always had something for them, apartment we had was lovely, well kept and always cleaned to high standard daily. Staff so friendly and always on hand to help, pools were never too busy both pools were suitable for everyone, stuff on for the kids every day/night, Halloween was great lots of activities they even transformed rooms into a tunnel de terror for kids and adults so good. snacks from a truck all day everyday, beach is literally on the hotel front through a door and your there, gorgeous Sandy beach with calm waters and pedalo boats with slides to rent for €20. Shops and food places all around the hotel within a minutes walk, all in all can’t fault the place at all! Thanks again for a memorable family holiday.

5***** holiday Really Impressed!!! Mid-September 2025 This hotel was in an excellent location,on the Alcudia Bay beach. Probably the best beach in Majorca! The staff were so welcoming and professional!!! Food was outstanding, loads of choice, specials, never got bored after 12 days. Excellent bar service too. Premium brands and waiters circulating with taster cocktails - nice touch. * Rooms are dated but clean. * Fresh water dispenser on each floor very useful!! * Note the studios are king bed, needed to get a gold out for 2 brothers sharing. * Breakfast - Coffee is ok quality, but queues are not good for 2 machines. Need to have separate hot water dispenser for tea. Queues also for eggs/omelettes * Refundable towels good system, to save on luggage. * Very family orientated lots of babies and under 5s. The entertainment started very early and ended at 9.45pm
