Iberostar Waves Pinos Park

If cold swimming pools aren’t a game changer for you then definitely consider staying here. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with two young children. As per the reviews that I had read before going, the staff were really personable and made sure that they made you feel welcome and important that you were there. They put on loads of activities and entertainment every day and is nestled in a beautiful bay that is lined with trees which gives it a very relaxing feel. Food was great, pool snack bar could have a few more savoury items/variety, but restaurant is fab with beautiful views overlooking the bay. Plenty to walk to and visit from the hotel and has a bus , land train and boat service that runs right outside. Room was perfectly clean and modern enough, just lacked a few extras like a kettle (typical Brit in need of a cup of tea! 😄) ironing board, crockery etc. Pinos park, please let us know if one day if the pools will be heated as that would be the only thing we need to know to want come back and visit again. Our children love being in the water and unfortunately they were too cold. Other than that we thought it was a fabulous, relaxing hotel.

It's a nice place close to the sea. Rooms are comfy and clean. Pool was a little bit too could in October, but that ist not really a critic. We would come again.

We stayed at Iberostar Pinos Beach as a family and overall had a great holiday — the location is beautiful, the food was very good, and there were plenty of activities to keep everyone busy. However, our experience with the rooms was disappointing. The family room we booked had a strong damp, moldy smell, which is not acceptable, especially when families with babies and children are expected to sleep in that environment. When we raised the issue at reception, we were told “no one has complained about this room before”, which did not feel very understanding or apologetic. In the end, we had to pay extra to upgrade to a room without damp, which left us frustrated since we had already booked a family room in good faith. It’s such a shame, because apart from the rooms, we really did enjoy our time at the resort. Unfortunately, the state of the accommodation means we probably wouldn’t return to this hotel, even though we had a great holiday overall.

We stayed a week here in a double garden view room. Check-in was easy and everyone was friendly and helpful. The main hotel and grounds are very nice, green and well maintained. What really makes this hotel stand out though is the sea views, it’s a beautiful part of Majorca. Sadly, the rooms are what lets this place down, they are small, dark, basic and dated. Very much in need of a refurb. Initially when we arrived, there was a cot in the room, but as our son is nearly 4, it was too small for him and they replaced with a single bed, but we did have to ask twice. The room keys are a nightmare. We ended up with 4 keys, none of which would let us in. It was quite stressful when you have a toddler that needs the toilet and you can’t get into the room. It was our first time going all-inclusive which we were sceptical about, but the food really was excellent. Dinner time in particular gets very busy though, sitting outside is fine but inside is chaotic and loud. Staff are very friendly and attentive and quick to clear plates etc The hotel has lots on offer for children, especially recommend for younger children and toddlers. If, like us, you prefer a quiet evening or are light sleepers, some of the rooms are very close to the entertainment which is loud until 1030-11. So you might want to request a quieter room as we did. A big thanks to the team who clean the rooms daily, they were spotless! The location and food is what really makes this hotel, luckily we don’t spend a lot of time in the room on a beach holiday, but that would be the only thing putting us off returning. Overall, we had a great stay, if we find out they have refurbished the rooms, we wouldn’t hesitate to come back!

I rated this 5 stars because overall we had the best holiday and our kids said it was their favourite so far. There’s a really friendly atmosphere, and the staff are all lovely and work very hard to make it enjoyable for guests. There’s lots to do throughout the day - with activities round the pool in particular. Brilliant entertainment at night, mainly focused on kids but enough to keep adults interested too. The best feature is the setting - right beside a beautiful beach cove and surrounding pine trees. It’s a relatively small hotel, which means staff remember you and it’s easy for kids to make friends, but also means there’s only a few areas to go to which can get a bit repetitive. This hotel isn’t super slick. It could do with some renovation work. The food is decent, but not amazing. There are lots of kids, and it gets very loud because of this. On balance, as a family with 2 young kids, I found this didn’t matter as the rest of the hotel offer made up for it - we enjoyed it more than the fancier hotels we’ve been to in the past.
