Wow what a place!! We have just got back from a week away as a large family of 9 with three of those being children under 10. The food was amazing with so much choice and different themes, the beautiful scenery was to die for with the most stunning beach views. The entertainment was brilliant… lots of activities all through the day… we especially loved Kris hosting the Bingo and the kids creative activities at the pool bar. The pool activities were really fun and the Aqua Aerobics was a daily MUST from all of us. The evening entertainment was brilliant as was the kids clubs. The thing that really stood out to us was your amazing team of staff .. my husband needed an urgent dentist appointment and the receptionist quickly booked him an appointment and arranged a taxie, the waiting staff and chefs were so tentative to the kids and made them feel so special.. I mean heart shaped eggs in the morning is the cutest! The entertainment team do not stop smiling and made us laugh so much. Honestly the best place we have ever been . Thank you so much for an unforgettable family trip

We had a brilliant time at Iberstar Waves Pinos Park and would really recommend this hotel for young families. The hotel is in beautiful location between two small coves with stunning views and sea swimming. We travelled with a 5 and 7 year old and the daily entertainment for kids was perfect for those ages and they both absolutely loved the star camp activities - shout out to Mario, Victor and Paola for creating such a fun experience for them - it really made their holiday! Although the pool is busy with lots of kids during peak season, the hotel manage this well and the site is very well maintained and looked after. Rooms on the sea view side are lovely and definitely quieter in the evenings than some parts of the hotel. The food/drink options are also excellent with a good level of variety across the week. Overall we had a really positive experience and we would love to return again one day.

We arrived on Thursday 16th July with our 20month LB, overall first impressions of the hotel was good. Lobby area clean and staff were there to welcome us. Quick check in (little to no information given apart from the food times, which suddenly changed one evening without prior notice). Room was clean, spacious and well equipped. The cot had an actual mattress in which I feel is a big plus for babies comfort. Room was cleaned daily. We reported the flush not working mid holiday, someone was knocking on the door within 5 mins of reporting on the app. Only negative on the room, it was 2 single beds pushed together on metal legs which reminded me of a hospital bed, extremely noisy when getting on and off which was difficult with a sleeping baby. We also found they moved so resulted in a huge gap in the middle, meaning it was unsafe for little one to sleep in the bed with us. Food was amazing , so much choice and variety across the nights. I would say, if you get bored of eating at the same place morning, dinner and tea then this is not the place for you. No alternative. Even though we rotated sitting inside, outside and upstairs, we were bored by the end of the 7 days, little one was too. Waiting and kitchen staff were all fab! Snack bar and ice lollies were the same every day. Entertainment, did not entertain under 4s at all. I really looked forward to doing something with my baby throughout the day which wasn't just the pool or the play park but all the activities apart from body painting was 4yrs +. Pictures show soft play which never materialised, in place were a few wooden toys, either tired or broken. Nighttime entertainment started very late. In the baby pool where the slides are, beds were plentiful, the main pool next to the bar, its bed wars. I would say 90% of the beds are taken by 7:30 with none sitting on them. As a non smoker, the location of the smoking area was poorly thought out. Close to the restaurant sitting area and right in the middle of one of the main walk ways to alot of hotel rooms. I really did not like having to walk my baby through the smoke every time we were heading to the room. Right next to the beach but the water was that littered with rubbish we went in once and didnt return. There is another beach within walking distance where the water looked clean but it was always busy with locals and was pretty small. The surrounding area is beautiful, very pretty to take a walk around. Gift shops in the area are fairly well priced. Would we return ... no. Would we recommend... yes if you have older children as I feel you would get more out of what the resort has to offer.
