O7 Cala Ratjada (ex. Club Hotel Cala Ratjada)

Location is pretty good. If you are not fussy with what you will eat then the food is probably ok even though not amazing, a lot is obviously bought in premade. Most of the meats is cooked on site we think though and done to a high standard as my partner tried most each day I personally found that the food gave me heart burn within minutes of eating so I assume it's due to the cooking oils or something. There is a QR code which apparently tells you about the hotel but I couldn't get it to scan . When it comes to the all inclusive bar, the bar outside didn't clearly indicate what exactly was included so it appeared when we first went that only beer and wine plus soft drinks were included. We realised after a couple of days there was actually a second bar which had a clear menu of what was included with all inclusive. The beer is clearly the cheapest draft available and so is the wine. The cocktails on the allotment inclusive are definitely watered down. You also have to pay €1 euro per plastic cup as a deposit but at no point did we ever get our deposit back so over the holiday we probably had to pay roughly €20 for plastic cups so not sure if bar staff just keeping that deposit for themselves each shift. The rooms are not as advertised on the pictures online. We booked a double and what we got was 2 singles pushed together. Our balcony door didn't lock and the balcony itself felt like it slopped so didn't feel particularly safe. ( Do not go on the balcony drunk) Location isn't bad as kind of in the middle of the harbour and the better beach. If you want early nights then you either need to hope you get a good room or bring earplugs as some rooms overlook a busy German bar which plays loud music til 3am. Overall the area ls ok we had a good enough holiday but not ideal location for English people 40 or below really

Can't believe some of the reviews on here slating this place. We paid £560, for 2 people, for 5 nights all inc , inc flights transfer and a big case so hotel would of recieved half of that!! Its clean, it has nice pool areas , we never had a problem with sun loungers, plenty available. Whats people's problem with paying €1 deposit on a cup, you get it back and helps keep the place clean, the drinks are ok , the bar staff are generous with the spirits!! And the beer is amstel. The food again is ok, not Michelin star quality 🤣 but what do people expect. There's plenty of choice at all meal times and I had some tasty meals. At these prices just eat out if the foods not to your approval. In between meal times there's not much but hot dogs, nachos and a small selection of ham and cheese and salad available. Cleaners come around every 2 days, the rooms are a bit dated, ours was quite small,but was very clean. The staff are friendly and overall welcoming, even ' Mr grumpy' on reception was quite funny tbh. The hotel is in a great situation not far from the marina or several amazing beaches. Overall a great winter sun trip, and for the money id definitely return.

Awful experience. Unhelpful staff. Didnt want to show us to our room. Got locked in our room twice once by us because apparently if you turn the key the wrong way you can lock yourself in?! And once by a maid! No info in the room regarding how to call down to reception so had to use our mobile. Air con dial hanging off the wall. One light didn't work. Toilet wouldn't flush. Unclean bathroom. Pool was filthy so we didn't use it. Awful awful food. If you didn't get to dinner early they ran out of food. Constantly had to ask for more. Raw meat handled with bare hands. Flies everywhere. Got woken us in the middle of the night by a group of police outside our room laugh and joking really loud. No entertainment in October even tho we wernt told this at the time of booking. Would never come back here again. Avoid!
