We had a beautiful experience. Much better than big hotels. Is a great hotel but still has a family atmosphere. Things I found extraordinary: babyclub and nati who is in charge Swimmingpool for kids Food match my expectations and more Enviroment with lagoos and trees evreywhere Empleyees in general Location is very good...alcudia beach in perfect for familys and is 10 min by car (but the resort dosnt have a beach)

We had been looking forward to our family holiday at PortBlue Club Pollentia Resort & Spa, but unfortunately our experience was overshadowed by repeated problems from the moment we arrived until the day we left. We booked our stay through Priceline. Our reservation summary clearly showed 2 adults and 6 children, and because we wanted to be absolutely certain everything was correct before travelling, we contacted both Priceline and the hotel. Priceline’s reservation summary showed that our booking included 2 adults and 6 children, and the hotel confirmed that they had received our reservation. Based on this information, we travelled believing everything was in order. However, upon arrival, the hotel informed us that the reservation they had received did not include the children and demanded an additional €1,850. This was an extremely stressful way to begin a family holiday with six children. We had several lengthy conversations with customer service and provided the documentation we had available. Unfortunately, we felt that neither our documentation nor the circumstances we described were properly considered. After lengthy discussions, we negotiated the additional charge down to €1,200, partly because of the booking dispute and partly because our room already had significant problems upon arrival. Unfortunately, that was only the beginning. For the first three days, the air conditioning did not work properly and leaked water into the room. During the hottest days of our holiday, the room was simply too warm to be comfortable. We then experienced repeated problems with our room door. The lock was replaced, but only two days later the door failed again and locked our children inside the room. Thankfully, we were staying on the ground floor, allowing the children to open the balcony door so I could reach them. Had we been staying on a higher floor, the situation could have been much more serious. The maintenance team had to force the door open and replace large parts of it. During the repair, we were unable to leave the room and had to remain inside while maintenance staff worked with an angle grinder and other power tools to rebuild the door. The problems continued throughout our stay. * Our room safe stopped working and had to be opened with an emergency key. * Our room key cards repeatedly stopped working. * There was a very strong mould smell in the room. * Several members of our family suffered cuts on the soles of their feet from sharp stones in the swimming pool. Overall, we experienced problems with our room during 6 of our 7 nights at the hotel. After everything we had experienced, we contacted customer service several times and requested compensation for the significant disruption to our holiday. Instead, we were told that the reduction from €1,850 to €1,200 was considered sufficient compensation, even though that reduction related to the booking dispute and not to the repeated maintenance and safety issues we experienced throughout our stay. The only additional gesture offered was a bottle of wine and a few pieces of chocolate. We respectfully disagree that this adequately reflects the impact these issues had on our holiday. The positives Not everything was negative. The food was very good, the location is excellent, and the staff we met around the hotel were friendly and welcoming. We especially enjoyed the saltwater pool, the entertainment programme, and the Mini Disco, which our children absolutely loved. Unfortunately, despite these positives, the repeated room problems, the stressful start to our holiday, and the way our concerns were handled mean that we cannot recommend this hotel based on our own experience.

This was a very nice hotel. We had a room right next to the adults only pool, bar and restaurant, so we never needed to go far at all most days. The wristband had an NFC tag that you used to open your room door and when ordering drinks or food. It was very convenient and it saved me having to carry a card separately. The adults only restaurant and bar weren't too busy or noisy, so it was good to have a relaxing meal and a few quiet drinks each night. It does allow 'older' children in as long as they behave, so it was all very civilised. The food in the restaurant was generally very good quality with a decent selection available. We were there for 10 nights and there were Chinese and Mexican themed nights and a Sunday Roast with all the trimmings one night. Breakfast had a great selection and the coffee machines were good too. The bar had a good selection of drinks and cocktails that were part of the all-inclusive package, so we were able to try a few of them during our stay. The restaurant staff were always helpful although some could have done with showing a bit more enthusiasm. But, I had no complaints whatsoever about the levels of service from them. The grounds were lovely and it was nice to have a wander around. The hotel is about halfway between Alcudia and Port de Pollencia and in the very hot weather, it's just a bit too far to walk to either. However, there are regular bus services and they get you to either town quickly and cheaply. The bus stop is right outside the hotel. I used the gym each day and it was well equipped. I also liked that we could exchange our towels each day without any extra charge as not all hotels do that. There was a good mix of nationalities and it was nice to meet and talk to some German and Belgian guests when we were there. The reception staff were very helpful and they provided a driver with a golf cart to take us to and from our room with our cases at check in and check out. Overall, I'd certainly recommend this hotel as we had a lovely relaxing time there.

We stayed at PortBlue Club Pollentia Resort & Spa for three nights during our girls' trip to Mallorca, where we were also celebrating my birthday. We chose this hotel expecting a relaxing experience at a four-star resort, but unfortunately our stay was disappointing. Before anything else, I want to say that every member of staff we interacted with was incredibly kind, professional, and genuinely tried to help us. This review is absolutely not about them. The problems we experienced were clearly beyond their control. As soon as we entered our room, we noticed a very strong musty, mold-like smell. It was so unpleasant that we immediately contacted reception. A staff member kindly showed us several different rooms, but they all had the same issue—some even worse. We were then taken to the hotel manager, who openly admitted that they were already aware of the problem. Since I suffer from severe allergies similar to asthma, this was particularly concerning. We spent almost an hour and a half trying different rooms and discussing possible solutions instead of enjoying the first day of our holiday. The manager offered us an upgraded room but explained that it would have the same smell and that we would have to pay the difference ourselves. Considering we were already paying more than €200 per night, this was difficult to understand. He also mentioned that the rooms are around 20 years old and need renovation. The hotel installed an air purifier in our room and even suggested that we could receive a refund for the remaining nights if we chose to leave. However, because it was peak season in Mallorca, finding another hotel at such short notice was unrealistic, so we had no practical choice but to stay. Unfortunately, the room itself also felt outdated and more like a Motel. The television was old, not a Smart TV, and only had German channels. On the second night, we also noticed a sewage smell coming from the bathroom, forcing us to keep the bathroom door closed. When I went to bed on the first night, I also noticed several small dark-red stains on the bed that looked like blood. They made me uncomfortable enough that I turned the bed over before sleeping. Housekeeping was another disappointment. Although the room was serviced, the floor was never properly cleaned, even though we naturally brought sand back from the beach.
