Protur Floriana Resort

6th - 16th July 2026 Unbelievable time and place. There are actually 6 outdoor pools (3 adult & 3 kids) which isn’t properly detailed in any info. Protur Floriana is a small village - not a complex. We were self catering as it suits us better. We had drinks there every day and ate occasionally. All good quality and reasonably priced. Apartments were spotless and more than adequate. Cleaned on six of our ten days there. No issues getting a sunbed, though on our last few days it was starting to become more challenging. Usual case of selfish people reserving with towels then not turning up until lunchtime. Move their towels and relocate the sunbeds. Walk to the strip is 5 minutes once you work out the route. Cala Bona into Cala Millor is essentially one large strip with endless restaurants and bars, running right along the seafront. It’s beautiful and you’re spoilt for choice. This region of Mallorca is stunningly beautiful and the local cuisine is superb. Avoid the ‘touristy’ restaurants and cafes and find the places where the locals flock to. For example; Cafe Sureda is the closest cafe to Protur Floriana yet it’s only Spanish go there. A coffee, 2 milkshakes, 2 small baguettes and a Lolly = €14 - quality of food/drinks is superb. So many top restaurants, like Panetosta, Stanley’s, Portobello and more lined from the port in Cala Bona all the way to Cala Millor. A complete flat walking route. Upon typing we’ve booked to go back to Protur Floriana. The staff are the stars of the show. From service, to maintenance and cleaning - they couldn’t have been more helpful. We had to shut apartments mid vacation. They had us sorted in one hour.

Nice nice hotel, but would not go back due to the lack of sleep all week Our family where in block H and three nights of the week people in the swimming pool after midnight making lots of noise report reported this toreception and they eventually got them out not a good impression for a family hotel and for health and safety

Best hotel we have ever stayed in 1010 First time staying at a resort where all the staff genuinely seem like they enjoy working there. Everyone says hello and is friendly. Nothing is too much trouble. We arrived by 12.30, in our room by 1. Even though check-ins not til2. Golf buggy took us to our room. Location was perfect. Under 10 mins to shops, bars, restaurants. Just keep walking to Cala Millor. Set back enough to be quiet but close enough not to need taxis. Amazing places to eat in Cala millor. Our room was lovely. Exactly like the photos. We had a 1 bed apartment. Fridge, microwave, kettle, etc. balcony looking over the pool. The beds were comfy. Our cleaning lady was fantastic. They clean the rooms 5 times a week. We stayed for 12 nights so only needed it cleaned twice. Just had some new towels. The food was always delicious. A very good selection and we never felt we had the same meal twice, in all the time we were there. There was almost too much choice that you were too full, so couldn’t try everything. Ice cream was fantastic! The tui rep was very helpful. We asked about the markets and she told us about 3 different ones. Our flight was an evening flight and on the last day I went to reception and asked to extend our check out time to 6. They checked, no problems. The only hotel I would go back to time and time again. Everyone one was so much more relaxed. Nobody grabbing sunbeds at 5 in the morning. People just bringing towels down after breakfast half910 o’clock. The lady working in the snack bar (I forget her name) was amazing, so friendly, any questions she had answers, recommended places to go see. 100 out of 100. Couldn’t recommend highly enough.

We are huge Protur fans, having previously enjoyed three holidays at Protur Palmeras Playa in Sa Coma and another three at Protur Vista Badía.Protur Floraina did not disappoint. We stayed in Block B, Room 1209, on an all-inclusive basis and had a wonderful two-week holiday. The hotel has an incredible team. From the reception staff, who were so helpful and understanding,to the fantastic animation team. A special mention has to go to Paula – she is an absolute superstar! Her energy, charisma and enthusiasm are infectious, and she made every activity so much fun. A huge shout-out also to Isaac from the drinks waiter team. He works incredibly hard and is always friendly and welcoming. The food was outstanding. The head chef deserves huge praise – you could see him around at nearly every meal service, making sure everything was running perfectly. It was honestly the best food we've had at any Protur hotel. Breakfast was exceptional: crispy bacon just the way I like it, perfectly cooked scrambled eggs (not runny or watery), and even black pudding on one of the mornings, which was a lovely surprise. Every meal offered plenty of choice and was delicious. The restaurant staff worked tirelessly from morning until night and always greeted our son and daughter with a cheerful "Hola" and a big smile. Those little touches really make a family holiday special. The housekeeping team also deserve recognition. Our room was kept spotless throughout our stay, and the maintenance team responded incredibly quickly to an issue with our door that we reported to reception. The cleaning staff around the pool worked hard every day, and the pool toilets were always spotless. One small point for improvement: the lock on the disabled/baby changing toilet by the pool doesn't work, so it was helpful to have someone stand outside while it was in use to avoid anyone accidentally walking in. Unfortunately, our daughter developed an ear infection during our stay, so we needed to visit a doctor. We highly recommend the beachfront medical centre. The lovely Irish receptionist translated everything for us, explained the doctor's instructions, and even wrote down what we needed to collect from the pharmacy next door. She made what could have been a stressful experience so much easier. We also want to give special thanks to the hotel TUI representative, Magdalene. She was incredibly caring, helpful and supportive when we experienced a stressful transport situation. We were so impressed with her that we contacted TUI after returning home to praise her excellent service. The evening entertainment was great fun. In particular the evening of Sandy Vegas, he should be renamed "The Entertainer" because he always gets the audience involved and keeps everyone smiling. Finally, the shops are only an 8–10 minute walk from the hotel and have everything you could need, including water, drinks, snacks, toiletries and souvenirs. Overall, we had a fantastic two-week holiday. The staff are a real credit to Protur, and their friendliness and how hard they work are what make this hotel so special. We would not hesitate to return and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing family holiday in cala bona.

What can I say absolutely lovely hotel great location if you walk through the little pathway at the back you can reach all the shops and beach . Pools not to deep which is great and the warmest pools I ever been in and yes even in June 🤣. All staff were brilliant entertainment team and shows bar staff all so kind and friendly. We stayed in block be room 1112 which was block we asked for and was granted and Well appreciated although with a buggy was a little tough going up to the first floor in the heat but we managed. Sunbeds no issues at all ever but even though sunbeds were available no matter what time of day you came around the pools there was one family who took up 5 sunbeds around the amin pool from 8am and never came to the sun beds untill 3.30pm when there really was no need to do this. The daily activities great. We stayed sc so can’t comment on the food but drinks were reasonably cheap and great choice and a snack bar that done different dishes. If your going sc there is no toaster which would be a great addition but everything else was ok. Eating out was fairly reasonable aswell. My only moan really is that one mirror in the bathroom isn’t enough for 4 people trying to get ready in one room. Mayb a full length mirror would be a great addition to the rooms and the edge of the patio doors on the balcony which is in my pictures could do with some tape to be aware it’s there multiple times myself and family tripped up it or kicked our toes up on it. Already booked to return June 2027 but on an all inclusive basis and cannot wait. If you’re on the fence about booking this hotel book it you won’t be disappointed.
