Protur Floriana Resort

What can I say absolutely lovely hotel great location if you walk through the little pathway at the back you can reach all the shops and beach . Pools not to deep which is great and the warmest pools I ever been in and yes even in June 🤣. All staff were brilliant entertainment team and shows bar staff all so kind and friendly. We stayed in block be room 1112 which was block we asked for and was granted and Well appreciated although with a buggy was a little tough going up to the first floor in the heat but we managed. Sunbeds no issues at all ever but even though sunbeds were available no matter what time of day you came around the pools there was one family who took up 5 sunbeds around the amin pool from 8am and never came to the sun beds untill 3.30pm when there really was no need to do this. The daily activities great. We stayed sc so can’t comment on the food but drinks were reasonably cheap and great choice and a snack bar that done different dishes. If your going sc there is no toaster which would be a great addition but everything else was ok. Eating out was fairly reasonable aswell. My only moan really is that one mirror in the bathroom isn’t enough for 4 people trying to get ready in one room. Mayb a full length mirror would be a great addition to the rooms and the edge of the patio doors on the balcony which is in my pictures could do with some tape to be aware it’s there multiple times myself and family tripped up it or kicked our toes up on it. Already booked to return June 2027 but on an all inclusive basis and cannot wait. If you’re on the fence about booking this hotel book it you won’t be disappointed. Absolutely brilliant holiday; returned yesterday after a 14 night all-inclusive stay (myself, wife and 18 year old son). I can honestly say that this was one of our best holidays. Firstly, all the staff were friendly and helpful, from our initial reception through to the staff in the dining areas etc. I have to say a huge plus is the outdoor (covered) eating area, which we used all the time. The food was excellent (for an all inclusive hotel) great range of choices and themes throughout our stay. Room was excellent, clean and comfortable. The only issue I encountered was when I lost a room key. The staff could not have been more helpful, the lock on the door was replaced within 15 minutes, no fuss at all. The entertainment (lead by Paula) was a highlight, loads of activities throughout the day; from archery, through water polo, to yoga and meditation. The whole team were enthusiastic and engaged. The activities lasted for a long time (not so great if you are as old as I am!!!) but seriously I was taken aback by the the team's positive attitude and apparent joy at doing their jobs. Anoth4er big plus was the free cycle hire (€10 deposit) my only quibble would be that perhaps it would be nice to be able to have an early bird hire (say 7am-10am) as this would let people get out before it gets too warm. I think other activities were free as well (again with deposits). In addition, as others have noted, no issues getting sunbeds etc throughout the day. I have already recommended the resort to my older children (and my grandchildren). And I would love to return,

Beautiful hotel, perfect for families could get a sun bed anytime of the day no body got up early to hog them, been here twice now last August (2025) and June 26 resort big enough not to be crowded, we had a lovely big one bed apartment. Food lovely every morning/dinner and night cooked perfectly every time, staff went out of their way to be friendly and helpful, been twice and will definitely be going back.. thankyou floriana for a lovely holiday

Location - not bad, 10 minute walk to the Spar and beach, Aldi a 7 euro taxi. You will need to get to the beach early if you want seats, costs 21 euro for 3 seats and an umbrella, which isn’t too bad. Hotel - cleaned on all days it should’ve been. There are different blocks and we were in I, which was a way from the reception. In my opinion, plenty of sunbeds no need to get up early. We requested a view of the pool which we got. Downside - people smoking at the pool despite the no smoking signs, no one did anything about it…no pool timetables which meant people were in the pool at 11pm at night, which was disruptive, people playing there own music loudly around the pool, again no one said anything and watch out for the Ants, my partner and son both had ant bites on their legs and back. Too many downsides to say we would go back unfortunately.

Travelled as a family of 6 & had a lovely experience. We requested certain rooms/blocks & those wishes were granted which was a great start to the holiday. All the staff were happy & friendly, from the reception, cleaners, dining room staff, bar staff, even the gardeners. Great selection of food every day. Took my own kettle & hairdryer as i had read they are not provided. There was a old fashioned steam kettle you heat up on the hob. Tea, coffee, milk, sugar etc is not provided so take your own but you can pick these things up from the dining room. The shampoo/conditioner is a combined shampoo/body wash so if you are fussy with your hair products take your own or there are plenty of shops near by. The cheapest place is obviously Aldi which is about a 30 minute walk or 5 euro in a taxi. The whole place is just lovely, very well maintained, very pretty. There are loads of pools with plenty of sun loungers. Water stations which are handy. Entertainment is hit and miss but it depends what you find entertaining .. its great to sit outside at night time to watch it though. All in all, had a great time and i would recommend and also stay again.
