Perfect all inclusive hotel for families with children. Lovely grounds, super pools, rooms which are large, clean and comfortable with air con. Food was fresh and varied. There were plenty of sun loungers even in peak season and a large shady area under trees as well as poolside umbrellas. Without exception, every member of staff was friendly and helpful. It was our first time on the island, we were delighted with the close proximity to local shops and restaurants on our trips out. We went as three generations to celebrate a birthday and catch the total eclipse. We all thoroughly enjoyed our holiday. Many thanks.

We had a really lovely holiday at this hotel and would definitely recommend it to families. Yes, the hotel was busy at times, but it’s the middle of the summer holidays and the busiest season, so this was completely expected. The staff worked tirelessly throughout our stay. Our room was cleaned almost every day, the bar staff worked incredibly hard, the entertainment team were enthusiastic and friendly, and the staff in the main restaurant never seemed to stop cleaning, clearing tables and preparing food. The reception team were fantastic and nothing was too much trouble. We asked for a kettle and needed some help with the air conditioning, and both were sorted straight away. We did have a few ants in our room, but reception came up and sprayed the room for us. We were then more careful about leaving crumbs around and, after that, it wasn’t an issue. We were also celebrating a birthday during our stay and the team kindly arranged a birthday cake, which was a lovely touch. The pools did get busy at times, but we never had any problems getting a sun lounger. There were always plenty available when we went down for breakfast and we also noticed plenty of spare loungers throughout the day. We didn’t watch the evening entertainment, so can’t comment on that, as we preferred to walk the 10 minutes into Cala Bona harbour. There are plenty of lovely bars and restaurants there. Alternatively, the reception team can arrange a taxi to Cala Millor, which is only around a five minute taxi ride away and has even more bars and restaurants. Overall, we had a fantastic family holiday. The hotel is a great choice for families, and we spoke to lots of guests who return year after year, which says a lot. The staff work incredibly hard to make sure everyone has a good holiday, and we really appreciated their efforts. We would happily return!

Hope this helps people as I'm fussy when choosing holidays. No regrets at all with Floriana, 5min walk to the beach and swimming piers, how anyone can moan about lack of choice for food is beyond me - so much choice throughoutntje day, Italian on site restaurant amazing. Excellent for families, AC worked fine. Downside, agree with what people say about the swimming pools, far too small for the amount of people and all too deep for kids. Plenty of the usual entertainment, singers throughout the week were so bad!!!! All staff lovely.

We have just returned from a week here following a cruise. In 30 years of travelling this is the first time I’ve given such a poor review. We are not massively fussy and appreciate the star rating is 3 however the hotel failed to deliver this standard, this was not a cheap holiday and had been planned for 18months. Hotel massively overcrowded unable to swim in the pools allowing of large inflatables which was actually dangerous at times. The lifeguard did nothing but talk on his mobile for the entire week I’m amazed no one hasn’t drowned. People in the pool at midnight didn’t see it cleaned and was murky. Power cuts everyday no water one evening so couldn’t shower. A/C cutting off every night room over 31 degrees. Restaurant by second pool closed from 3rd day leading everyone to use the one in main building let to total chaos. Food being touched and put back my kids no parents in sight. The beer was off smelt of egg no one was drinking it clearly the pipes haven’t been cleaned. Ants all over the room. Rooms not cleaned when they were supposed to be the sofa bed was just a rock hard cheap cushion by 12 year old said it’s like sleeping on a brick. The entertainment in the evening was in one area loud and total rubbish nowhere to sit and have a quiet drink. Reported issues to Rep and Reception no one cared. I reiterate I am not fussy at all and would always try to make the best of a well earned holiday. I was glad to leave and get home. We were exhausted from lack of sleep I cannot understand why this place gets good reviews I cannot stress highly enough if you have booked this or thinking of it change your mind.

Overall a nice hotel. I think to be a 4* needs alittle upgrading in places, some descent air-conditioning in rooms, hairdryer in rooms, pool towels and plastic glasses NOT paper!! Food nice & always something to have, although alittle repetitive. Times alittle later than we are used too. Breakfast being 8-10.30 & lunch from 1pm-3.30pm Entertainment good by staff during the day, who are great with audience. Some outside entertainers not so good ie (Sandy Vagas) he hardly sung a word, too much backing music to drown him out. Soul sister great!! Needs more cocktail options for AI (Only 3 to choose from) only like 1. Football court needs to be open for kids longer on a nighttime as it closes at 8pm so then they were either running riot or playing on the grass or sand area, sometimes cause football to be kicked over near seating area & causing smashed glasses.
