We recently stayed at this hotel for our honeymoon, and overall the hotel itself is really nice. It was clean, well presented, and had a great set-up. The breakfast was particularly good, with plenty of options and something for everyone, which we really enjoyed each morning. Short walk to the beach which was lovely. Alba was really friendly from the reception team. However, there were a few aspects of our stay that were quite disappointing, especially given that it was a special occasion for us. Prior to arriving, I contacted head office to let them know we were celebrating our honeymoon. While they couldn’t offer an upgrade (which was understandable), they provided two contact email addresses for the hotel. Unfortunately, when we arrived, the hotel advised they hadn’t received anything, and there was very little acknowledgement of our honeymoon during check-in. A small gesture or token would have gone a long way in making it feel special. We had also paid extra to upgrade our room for the occasion (gold level swim up), but in hindsight this did not feel worthwhile. The “swim-up” room was quite misleading—the pool was not suitable for swimming and was more like a small area to paddle your feet on the balcony. This was a big disappointment as it had been a key reason for choosing the upgrade. The upgrade also included a pillow menu, which was not visible or mentioned anywhere in the room, and a “complimentary restocked minibar.” This turned out to be quite limited—just a few small bottles of water, a couple of crisps, and a packet of biscuits. We had expected a bit more variety, particularly with drinks, but anything additional (including alcohol or even extra water later in the day) came at an extra cost. Overall, while the hotel itself is very nice and we did enjoy parts of our stay, the upgrade offering felt misleading and didn’t provide the value we expected. If we were to stay again, we would likely just book a standard room and spend the extra money elsewhere. A bit more attention to detail—especially for special occasions—would really improve the experience.
Lovely hotel with great staff , especially Jamir around the pool area . Our Return visit to this hotel was unfortunately spoiled by building work directly in front and opposite side of the road to our room ! Building work started at 8am every morning except Sunday ! Having upgraded to a gold level room this time we were not expecting this and would have appreciated notification of the building work . Also we were not offered another room on mentioning to the reception staff . They told me to take it up with Jet2 . We love the area and normally the hotel but next time will ask if the building work is finished !
This is our second time at the hotel, fabulous location close to the small beach and short walk to the main beach. Close to amenities, shops restaurants and marina. Bedrooms are a good size, this time we stayed in a basic room, previously upgraded. Room was great, towels changed daily, sea views. Fantastic breakfast, cleaners and waitresses very accommodating as is reception who provided extra hangers on the first day. I most crushing will be returning and would recommend you book direct to take advantage of their loyalty scheme. To add, reception were great at locating my lost bracket so an extra thank you to the lady on reception that evening.
The location of the hotel is in a residential area, but with a perfect beach just a few minutes' walk away. The staff were great and attentive. In terms of half-board eating options, the choice was very limited and very poor if you needed gluten-free options I raised this but got a brush off
I will start by saying the staff at this hotel were amazing with a special shout out to Vincente, Celeste and the guy at the pool Bar with the amazing eye lashes. We stayed in a deluxe room that was anything but. Worn, chipped bathroom worktops, squeaky bed with sheets that barely covered the mattress and debatable toiletries. From our balcony we could see 4x building sites but they didn’t make very much noise so weren’t personally a problem for us, but maybe to others. We booked with easyJet and their website stated that it is a wander to the marina, with many bars and restaurants. Don’t be fooled… it’s a few minute wander to Freddie’s bar ( would recommend) and a small beach. Its a 15x minute walk up a very steep hill to a few good restaurants and a supermarket. As for the marina it was a 30x minute up hill trek. I did wonder why so many taxis came to the hotel, it’s because of the distance to any restaurants. The area itself is really quite nice, and the small beach lovely. As for the hotel, maybe the gold rooms are 4x star but the deluxe rooms are barely 3x star. That being said the hotel was very clean, the breakfasts were amazing and the staff super. Would I go again, probably not. Neither would I have booked it knowing the distance from amenities and suggest that unless you are prepared to get many taxis or are reasonably fit then this hotel is maybe not for you.
