We stayed at this hotel from 26th July 2026, and overall I'd describe it as an average holiday rather than a great one. The hotel itself is large, very clean, and well maintained. Our room was lovely, clean, tidy, and comfortable, and most of the staff we encountered were friendly, polite, and helpful. The swimming pools are also a real highlight and are kept to a very high standard. Unfortunately, there were several aspects of our holiday that didn't meet our expectations. Before booking, I explained to the TUI representative that we enjoy walking in the evenings, browsing shops, and taking in the scenery. Cala Bona wasn't really what I expected or what I felt it had been made out to be. Apart from restaurants and several SPAR shops, there isn't a great deal to explore, and the walk into Cala Bona soon becomes repetitive. The hotel does offer a free shuttle bus to Cala Millor during the day, which is a nice addition, but I still felt a little disappointed with the location. The food in the hotel was acceptable, but for a TUI Blue hotel I expected much more. There wasn't a huge amount of choice, and the quality didn't stand out. We stayed in a three-star hotel in Santa Ponsa last year, and the food there was noticeably better, with more variety and better quality overall. One thing I always look forward to on holiday is enjoying a nice latte, but unfortunately the coffee here was, in my opinion, one of the biggest disappointments. Every latte I tried was watery and lacked any real coffee flavour. Even adding extra milk didn't help, as the milk itself tasted watered down. I also ordered a Baileys Freddo from Thea's Coffee Shop, costing €4.50, and it wasn't what was advertised. It was served warm instead of cold, had no whipped cream, and appeared to be made with a cheaper alternative to Baileys rather than the genuine product. When I queried this, I was told it was from last year's menu, despite it still being advertised on the TUI Blue app. For families with children, I also expected more daytime entertainment. Around the main pool there didn't appear to be any organised activities for junior-aged children. Most activities and facilities were aimed at younger children around the smaller pools, while the only regular activity we saw at the main pool was the daily water aerobics. Again, this was disappointing when compared with the three-star hotel we stayed in last year, where there were organised activities every day for children of all ages. The hotel also seemed to cater largely for German guests. While I appreciate that hotels welcome visitors from many different countries, there were times when it felt more geared towards German-speaking guests. The children's entertainment was mainly conducted in German, although some parts were translated into English. Even the television also reflected this, with the instructions being displayed in German. Although the hotel advertises satellite TV, there were very few English-language channels available, mostly limited to news, cooking programmes and CBBC. Families with young children who settle down early in the evening may find the entertainment options quite limited. Finally, our departure summed up the overall experience. When we checked out, the receptionist simply completed the process without so much as asking whether we had enjoyed our stay or wishing us a safe journey home. It's only a small gesture, but good customer service is often about those little touches, and it felt like a disappointing end to our holiday. Overall, the hotel is clean, the pools are lovely, and many of the staff work hard to provide a pleasant stay. However, based on our experience, it didn't live up to what I expected from a TUI Blue hotel. I don't usually leave reviews, and I certainly don't consider myself to be a fussy traveller, but I felt it was important to share an honest and balanced account of our stay. Everyone's experience is different, but unfortunately this isn't a hotel I would choose to return to.

GO SOMEWHERE ELSE ANYWHERE ELSE This place is so far below standards we would never return and wanted to leave early, do yourself a favour and go somewhere else. The TUI entertainment team are nice and try their best but they are let down by the hotel staff, like lots of others have said on here and numerous social media posts they are really unwelcoming and unfriendly clearly in the wrong job, some of them are downright rude! Only wish I had seen these reviews before booking lesson learned !! I trusted TUI blue brand big mistake. SERVICE worst I’ve ever experienced, non existent, treat you like an inconvenience my business head was dying to take over and show them what customer experience should look like, they need training lots of it, it’s clearly a management culture issue as spreads far and wide throughout the hotel. CLEANLINESS looks ok at first glance but rooms need updating lots of worn furniture eapeciallly bathrooms and balconies rusty stained furniture, fixtures and fittings and ANTS everywhere give me the creeps. Restaurant staff take their sweet time clearing up any mess, some guests seem to allow kids to make a right mess which I’m sure is annoying but walking by tutting and shaking your head won’t clear it up, one women in particular in restaurant in dark blue t shirt gives impression she’s the boss, Christ her behaviour resembles a prison guard she’s a horrid human and the worst attitude out of everyone, feel for some of the young girls that are trying I’d hate my daughter to be working for her THE BAR - yes 1 and only 1 at night , the hotel does have 2 but only 1 at night in entertainment area which is under staffed , poor quality , roasting hot, huge queues and don’t forget no more than 1 or 2 ice cubes 😂😂 drinks are not pleasant so don’t waste time waiting. ENTERTAINMENT aqua fitness team are full of energy and in general TUI experience guys throughout the day are making an effort…. Night time is not good think Butlins in the 80’s if you’ve no option to move hotels try reduce to bed and breakfast and go out to Cala Bona or Cala Millor centre THE FOOD is dire, to be fair breakfast is ok but we ended up eating out most nights after going in, having a look And giving up. it really was that bad !! Think school dinners on a low budget, cheapest of ingredients is evident… fatty pork and pan fried turkey almost every night god awful. The drinks are no better only thing we found ok was the coffee at breakfast, we ended up going to supermarket to stock up on water, squash and some wine and a bottle of vodka for the odd drink at night , yep it was that bad… even worse when we tried to get some ice at the bar to use our own drinks (even though we were all inclusive) we were limited to 2 cubes per plastic glass … WTF this place is focused on cheap bare minimum ROOM CLEANING is intermittent and minimal some days they just don’t show up and after 48 hours they never properly made the bed again, it’s so poor it’s kinda funny how hard is it to put a top sheet back on for gods sake take a bit of pride in your job ! I could go on but sure you get the picture AVOID AVOID AVOID

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Do not book here. This is not a 4 star. To start the room had a dirty uncleaned toilet when we arrived. The bath had jagged sharp rust on the outside of the bath. Damage to walls. The lampshade in the lounge was mouldy. There are two places where exposed wiring is showing. There is no kettle in the room. Food awful, a lot of cross contamination, same tongs used by the chef for fish, chicken and pork. Labels on food are not correct. At breakfast all the labels from dinner are still in place, and there is nothing labelled for breakfast. No butter available for toast. Sausages were raw. I have a severe nut and fish allergy, so this is a huge concern. Not a lot of food choice, a lot of frozen food, quite often cold as there are no heat lamps. No coffee or tea at dinner time. Tui rep on site Louise agreed this was not how a Tui blue hotel should be, but said if we change hotels, it will be at our cost. Reception staff are not interested and not very helpful. This is our 3rd day of the holiday and we have another 11 days to go. Today, they have painted over the rust , but you can still see it. We have always booked with Tui, either a 4 or 5 star hotel, I can't believe Tui have the nerve to call this a Tui Blue 4 star. We have been told by the Tui rep that we maybe could change hotels but at a much higher cost. The photos to sell the holiday are of the newer block by the main pool. We are in the older part of the hotel near the children's splash pool. I directly emailed the hotel to ask to be put near the main pool as I'm disabled, Tui also emailed the hotel. Please take this review seriously, I'm a 51 year old lady with a 25 year old son and 14 year old daughter. Today, we paid to eat somewhere else as we were all hungry. Please see photos.
