We stayed here for a week in September and had a nice stay. We had a nice room in block 4 above the reception which had everything we needed. The food in the restaurant was lovely and every meal was good, they make a big effort on the theme nights and some of the desserts were amazing. The food in the snack bar was equally as good in the afternoon and was fresh off the bbq. The drinks and ice creams were ok, this does show how this hotel sets its standards at 3 star, not sure why they only give out straws for certain drinks and it’s a big ask to get one, especially as they are paper! We spent most of our time between the splash park pool and the medium pool as they were a lot quieter than the main pool. The pools were great and sunbeds available at any time of the day. The reason for giving this hotel 4 stars is a few reasons from the staff, they are just not customer friendly. We booked the à la carte restaurant one night and was 10 minutes late due to getting the kids ready etc. When we arrived they refused us entry as we were late and apparently they had someone seating after us. The restaurant was empty though and there were lots of free tables inside where we wanted to sit, I can’t see why they wouldn’t let us in especially with 2 young kids. Other thing was we checked out at 7am and I left the pool towels in the room, yet the receptionist insisted I go back to the room to get them and return them to reception. We then asked to get a croissant from reception for the kids and they said the restaurant doesn’t open till 7:30, we could literally see the stacks of croissants. This isn’t the kind of service you would expect from a 4 star hotel, it’s a real shame as the hotel is nice and a few better decisions from staff could really make this place great.

We traveled with our children and grand-children, 10 persons. We really enjoyed the stay! The kids (aged 6, 5 and 3) enjoyed the kid's club. There was a Swedish speaking employee in the kid's club, which helped. They - and we - also enjojed the evening kid dance shows. There are several pool areas, and they were never crowded. Our only complaint is that the pools did not open until 10 in the morning. That should change. The restaurant was absolutely ok, there was different themes everyday for dinner. For lunch we could enjoy two fantastic restaurants just outside the hotel.

We stayed here for 9 nights from October 23rd — our second and final stay at this hotel. At first, everything seemed fine, but unfortunately, things took a turn early in our stay. On our third night, I had a very unpleasant encounter with one of the Food & Beverage supervisors in front of the entire dining area. My wife and son had gone up for food while I stayed at our table (a setup for 3 guests near the fire exit). Suddenly, a staff member — who appeared to be in charge of the shift — approached me aggressively, speaking in Spanish and pointing out that our table was meant for larger groups. I calmly tried to explain that we hadn’t moved or rearranged anything, the only thing we moved was a chair as we assumed someone had used our 3rd chair for their table— we simply sat where tables were already set — but she refused to listen and instead made a scene, slamming down a laminated chart and then opening the nearby fire exit on a cold, windy night in what appeared to be an attempt to make us move. Ironically, she then blocked the exit herself with a trolley, which clearly violates basic Health & Safety regulations. Throughout our meal, she and other staff continued to talk about us and deliberately avoided clearing our table. I later went to reception to speak with the duty manager, only to discover she was the same person. As a Maintenance manager myself (in a 4-star property in the UK), I understand that staff can get tired or frustrated, especially toward the end of a long season. However, there’s no excuse for causing a public scene or treating guests disrespectfully. A quiet, polite conversation would have resolved everything easily. Unfortunately, this incident really affected our holiday — and it was only night three. I also emailed the hotel afterward to raise my concerns but received no reply. During the rest of our stay, we noticed signs that the hotel was winding down for the season. Milkshakes and ice creams for children ran out and weren’t restocked, and the kids’ dining section was closed during the final evenings. While I understand that stock may be limited toward the end of the season, guests paying for an all-inclusive experience should still receive what’s advertised. On a positive note, the housekeeping team were excellent — our room was cleaned daily and always looked great. However, maintenance could improve: it took about three hours to replace batteries in our remote, the light switch in our room came off in my hand (which I fortunately knew how to fix safely), and the air-conditioning unit had visible live wires and a dirty filter. The shower head and faucet were heavily scaled, and a patch repair on the bathroom ceiling suggested an old leak that hadn’t been properly fixed. While many staff were friendly and helpful, a noticeable number seemed disengaged, likely due to the season’s end. Still, professionalism should never drop — guests deserve consistent service all year round. Sadly, due to the management incident and lack of response to my complaint, this will be our final stay here. With better leadership, communication, and maintenance, this hotel could easily meet its potential — but for now, it falls short of the standard expected from a 4-star property.
