Just got back from a week at this hotel, the hotel overall is great, the food for a 4 star is lovely however i do think the children's choices lack my daughter is a fussy eater and we struggled to find her things she would eat. The rooms are spacious and getting a sunbed is easy and there is plenty of space. What i think this hotel could improve on is the cleaning of the rooms, they weren't very well maintained and on day 4 i had to ask for clean towels as they didn't provide them just left the dirty ones every day. The towels you can use for the pool are free but if you dont make them last the whole of your trip you have to pay 1 euro for clean ones and as you can imagine they get dirty quick never had to pay for clean ones in previous hotels. Lastly the entertainment is pretty rubbish we went out most nights as the nights we stayed in for the entertainment the kids were bored. Cocmtails are basic and the wine is pretty average but overall a great family hotel for children, i just think with a few improvements this could be top notch!!

I honestly cannot praise this hotel enough!! Fantastic location, lovely friendly staff (majority) only the odd receptionist was a bit short, but still helpful. The food 10/10. Honestly, the best food I've ever had in an all inclusive buffet. The seafood pasta on my first day was delicious!! A lot of choice and varied dishes throughout our 7 night stay. My son is a fussy eater and always enjoyed what he ate and loved the dessert choi em Pistachio ice cream was my fave, as that is never usually an option and it was soo good. I do have a son who didnt come on holodya with us, that has a nut allergy. To be honest, I would be worried and extremely cautious and on edge of he ahd been with us. The labelling of foods is not great at all. There was a label on a cake that stated coconut cake. I ate it, and it was hazelnut. Also, labels were misplaced and loose easyliky moved around. There were also a lot of loose nuts out near a lot of other foods. I would say ro thise with allergies to email the hotel prior to your visit and speak with the kitchen staff/chefs. The cocktails aren't the best, but if you like mojitos, you can't go wrong. I would have loved an aperol spritz included in the all inclusive, but I loved the prosecco, real baileys, malibu (Coconut rum) pina coladas and several other coktail options. The wine and sangria on tap and served at the evening meal at the buffet restaurant was an added bonus! We had an issue in our room the first day with a leak in the air con unit through the ceiling. Staff extremely promptly sorted it out for us and arranged the maintenance guy immediately. All was fixed and sorted within half hour. Spacious, immaculate and modern room with two sets of patio doors leading ro the balcony, which was perfect. As my son was sleeping in the living room, we didnt have to disturb him to get outside. Our room in block 9 was cleaned, and beds were changed daily for the whole 7 day stay, with fresh towels and toilet rolls replenished. Powerful air con made the room comfortable to sleep. Comfy beds. Sunbeds were plentiful, again the best poolside set up I've experienced apart form a 5 star hotel I stayed at and sunbeds were booked for the stay. We never struggled to get a sun lounger, no matter what time of day we arrived at the pool, 2pm onwards some days. The layout offers spaced out varied areas close to the pool and sea view to sunbathe, it was also cooler closer to the sea as you had the breeze coming off the sea. The days where it was too hot to staybin the sun for long periodsnof time, the spa indoor pool was lovely and cool to relax and cool down. A really lovely calm environment. Cold jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. The jetty/pier to access the sea is slippery, a man fell and hurt himself but as long as you're cautious, it's a lovely spot to easily swim in the sea. There were a lot of young children there, but it is advertised as a family friendly hotel, and it is. Rooms were quiet, even though we backed on to a road. No noise at night or in the mornings. The entertainment room did get very hot at night time, and although the entertainment isn't to everybody's taste, my husband included. I thought it offered a varied programme for everybody to enjoy. I loved the silent disco. For young children the silent cinema was a great idea! We stayed the last week of the school term in wales. Towards the end of our stay, the hotel got noticeably busy and the restaurant was a little more chaotic. We struggled to find a table on the last 2 days. However, staff worked extremely hard to turn the tables around clearing plates efficiently. The pool became more chaotic, the pool water did get very warm at times, but I was still able to enjoy a swim. Time your swim when familes with children go to the restaurant for lunch. Lovely and quiet then around 1-2pm. Aqua aerobics was partuclarly enjoyable . The walk to Cala Bona is literally 10 minutes from the hotel on a lovely coastal path to shops and restaurants. Overall, a really enjoyable holiday. Good food, good location, good staff, good set up! Highly recommend this hotel to stay. Thank you Grupotel Mallorca Mar and thank you to all the hard working staff 🤗👏 We will definitely be returning, just maybe not in school holidays.
