We took our 2-year-old and 4-month-old for a week, and it was a great family-focused resort. The hotel was spotless, and the staff, especially the animation team, were fantastic. Our 2-year-old joined some activities, but even when he didn’t, the team always checked in. The resort has plenty of pools, soft play, a bouncy castle, climbing frames, and it’s less than a minute to the beach. The family room was ideal for kids. It had a main lounge area with a double sofa bed, a kitchenette with a microwave, fridge, kettle, and toaster, plus a bathroom with a shower. The bedroom had a double bed. We requested a camp bed for our 2-year-old and a cot for the baby, and even with all that, we had plenty of space and storage. The air con worked well even though it wasn’t too hot. Food-wise, the buffet had lots of variety. It wasn’t gourmet, but with kids, the convenience was perfect. We didn’t try the other restaurants. The location is quiet, so if you want to eat out, you’ll need to drive 15-20 minutes. Still, for a relaxing family week where you don’t have to worry about anything, I’d definitely go back.

I don’t even know where to begin with this place. We arrived to find that the air conditioning—clearly stated on their website as available May to September—was switched off because “it’s not hot enough outside.” Meanwhile, the rooms were stuffy and unbearable. They also claimed the pools were heated since the weather wasn’t warm enough, which is laughable because they were absolutely freezing. The à la carte options were a joke. Only one restaurant was open each night, always with the same overwhelmed staff, and it took around 30 minutes just to get served a drink. One evening they brought over a high chair with three legs and then never returned with a replacement, claiming they were “at capacity” despite only having four tables to serve. The buffet was just as bad—lukewarm food at best, the same options every day, nothing fresh or remotely warm. The room was tiny and depressing, the service was consistently awful, and we actually ended up leaving a day early because we couldn’t face another night of dreadful food and frustration. There were no kid‑friendly activities for under‑3s, and the play areas felt unsafe. The mini disco was the same repetitive, painfully loud routine twice a day, every single day. The only positive part of the entire trip was Wikiki Gastronomy in Cala Rajada—we ate there four times because it was genuinely amazing, unlike anything provided at the hotel. To make matters worse, Jet2 has been just as disappointing. We paid an extra £262 for their “all inclusive plus package,” only to find out it made no difference whatsoever. Conveniently, the option disappeared from our booking the day after we questioned it. Coincidence? Hardly. Still waiting for a response from them. And despite advertising separate check‑in for families with children under 12, we ended up standing in a queue for over an hour. Overall, a complete disaster from start to finish. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel—or Jet2—to anyone
