Viva Cala Mesquida Resort & Spa

Really good hotel, skiled staff and top class hotel. The surroundings are great, the beach ins perfect, the pool area is good and the bar and restaurant are fantastic.

We stayed as a family of 4, half board. Breakfast and dinner in the buffet restaurant was excellent, always something for everyone. Loads of different pools, and down the steps to the sandy beach around 200m away. Kids loved the animation team, they put their heart and soul in every day. Great value, highly recommended.

A little too kids friendly, we missed proper adults only areas and soundproof balcony doors. But the nice grounds and absolutley anazing location balaned everything to the positive. Hike to secluded coves and beaches right outside the door 😎

This is our 4th all inclusive stay in Menorca and Majorca and by far the best hotel. We paid the extra to have a sea view room with a terrace and it was worth it. The view from the room was spectacular with the best beach I’ve been to in the Balearics. Steps down from the room are perfect to catch the beach early in the morning when it is quiet or a dip in the sea in the early evening. The hotel was very clean with friendly staff. The food was good and lots of choice. The pools were great, splash pools, slides, and you could always get a sun lounger (although we were outside school holidays as our schools break up early July), the Bali beds can be used with no extra charge. Kids club ran from 11am to 1.30pm daily, the children enjoyed it although was a little repetitive. There was then pool entertainment or poolside activities on in the afternoon. The spa was great with hot and cold plunge pools and lots of available appointments for massages, perfect for a bit of kid free time. The evening entertainment was ok, some acts better than others. There’s not much to walk to if you want to get out of the hotel (supermarket over the road and a medical centre) but you can take a bus which is 20 mins into Cala Rataja which was easy enough and the marina was lively and lots of nice restaurants. I also got out for a morning and did a horse ride at Rancho Bonanzo through the national park. Overall a brilliant holiday, a great hotel and a really beautiful spot I would definitely recommend for a family holiday
