Viva Cala Mesquida Suites & Spa Adults Only

I couldn’t wait to write this review as this is by far the best all inclusive holiday we have had in recent years. We have visited before a few years ago when I was unfortunately taken ill. They took great care of us then and we decided we would return for a second go. (I might add my illness was not caused by the hotel stay!) Let’s start with the fantastic, attentive and friendly staff who cannot do enough to ensure a good experience. Helpful, polite and quick to respond but not in your face. The cleaning staff quietly and discreetly busy around and keep everything clean and tidy. The food was excellent providing a great choice for even the fussiest of customers. We do not have food allergies but I noticed plenty of choices for those with lactose and gluten Intolerances. We enjoyed two à la carte meals which are A bit special but we actually kept wondering what we were missing in the evening buffet! Our favourite nights were Italian night and Asian night when we had to really choose carefully so as not to overeat and end up uncomfortable. The evening entertainment was fun - sometimes a bit comical as hotel entertainment can sometimes be but it was entertaining all the same. The Viva activities and organizers were great, encouraging us to take part in pool activities but without being pushy. Circus entertainers once a week around the pool plus many cocktail making parties and snacks delivered to your sunbed. Water aerobics and yoga were brilliant fun. Sunbeds were plentiful and no need to get up at the crack of dawn to reserve! This is probably due to many of the rooms having either a garden, large balcony or a sunterrace. We LOVED our rooftop terrace which had a hot tub (great for cooling us down) a wet bed, two loungers, a sofa and table. Beautiful views too. We noticed that this hotel is doing their best to recycle and eliminate one use plastic. I loved the new addition of cold water stations on the ground floor of each building and a glass jug in our room so we could keep fresh water in the room without using plastic bottles. To round up, this is a smaller sized hotel which has a real family feel. It doesn’t take days to work out the routines and the way round and within a few hours you feel settled. Thank you for making our holiday wonderful and we are going to rebook straightaway.

This hotel is ideal for those who like a relaxing holiday in tranquil surroundings. The staff are very helpful and welcoming, we have been visiting for many years and find Viva has the ability to find really friendly staff in all departments. The food in the buffet restaurant is excellent with plenty of choice, plus there are two other restaurants you are able to book as an an alternative to buffet. For the first time on our last stay we booked a garden room in block six we had sunloungers and a terrace and a sunshade which was necessary in July. We hope to return in September and wish all the staff well until we see them again.

Just wanted to say what an amazing stay we had in June this was our 10 visit we are back again in September and next June can’t fault the staff Anita ,Jose , Baba and also so sorry don’t know her name girl on reception with long dark hair it’s like coming home food excellent so clean every where if I had one suggestion may be better entertainment some of it is quite boring beautiful surroundings and fab pools can’t wait to come back ❤️

Will definitely be returning! Quiet, great food, service and facilities. Plus the all inclusive had great choice for drinks and never a problem getting a sun bed!!! :)

We have just came back from this amazing hotel. It is a perfect hotel if you want to go away and relax. Food, Staff, Rooms and the hotel in general was excellent. It was a quiet location which was perfect for us. Definitely go back. Highly recommend
