Heritance Ahungalla

After passing through the very ostentatious front gates we were welcomed to this magnificent entry with a view over the pool to the ocean beyond! The pool beckoned us for immediate exploration. We were to find that not only was there the main pool, but another one directly behind our room with access via our patio. It was a scary walk to our rooms though, as the tiles, even when not wet, were very slippery! A lovely room with plenty of space and a decent bathroom. Not sure why they thought ceramic bottles were a good idea for the complimentary lotions etc in the bathroom. Surely, it would be safer, and more easily refilled if they had the type attached to the walls if they don't want to use mini product in plastic bottles. Plenty of powerpoints and lights, and beds were a decent quality. As our group had an early departure, the management arranged for an early breakfast in the buffet and we were surprised to find it fully stocked well before usual opening time. Thank you for that! The food at the buffet was ok for dinner, with some nice fresh salads available, but the worker who was on duty to "carve" the leg of roast pork, could do with some carving training, and not hack bits of meat off.

My family and friends recently spent two nights at the Heritance Ahungalle and had a wonderful time filled with lasting memories. From the time we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome. The buffet had a great variety of food, with both Western and Sri Lankan and other Asian dishes, so there was always something different to try out at every meal. We were in a package with full board, i.e all meals included during our stay. We also enjoyed spending time by the two great pools overlooking the beach and ocean. It was a beautiful place to relax and listen to the ocean specially as we arrived on a week day. Weekends do get very busy with locals however weekdays do have a very quiet and relaxing atmosphere. What really stood out the most was the way the Heritance Ahungalle staff looked after us and met all of our needs. We were also celebrating a special anniversary,and they were always happy to help with any requests, including meal requirements. Their friendliness and willingness to assist really made a difference to us and felt like being at home. A special thank you to Mr. Manoj, Ms. Poornima and Mr. Rasika from the Resident Management Team, as well as Mahesh, and the restaurant team as well as the housekeeping staff. Thank you for your kindness and for making us feel so well looked after throughout our stay. We had a wonderful time together as a family and left with some very special memories. We look forward to visiting Heritance Ahungalle again in not so distant future. Thanks

Very happy with our upgraded rooms. Our room boy Lasan was particularly good with very through cleaning throughout our 4 night stay.

Amazing experience! The service was outstanding, and the entire staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and professional. They went above and beyond to ensure that everything was perfect and made us feel genuinely welcome. The warm hospitality and excellent service truly made our visit memorable. Highly recommended, and we look forward to visiting again!

We had 04 days residential work shop in this hotel. Awesome service and nice staff. Specially Agra & Nethra-Amandi from restaurant are really helpful & friendly & attentive for the customers everytime with good manner & they know what is the customer service. Good & have a pleasant 03 nights 04 days stay at HERITANCE AHUNGALLA !! Thank you all
