Heritance Ahungalla

Overall Rating: 3/5 We recently stayed at Heritance Ahungalla and had a mixed experience. On the positive side, the range and quality of the food was very good, offering plenty of delicious variety. The hotel staff on the ground were also incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. However, we were very disappointed with how the hotel handles late-night noise levels. During our stay, there was a loud party going on late into the evening. My friend had a room right next door to the event, and their baby was completely unable to sleep due to the intense noise. The hotel staff did try to speak with the party guests to request a reduction in volume, but the guests simply would not listen to them. As a result, the loud music was allowed to blast until around 11:45 PM. While the staff did make an attempt, management needs to be far more proactive and enforce strict, non-negotiable rules regarding loud music and noise after a certain time. When guests refuse to cooperate, the hotel must have a firmer policy in place so that the comfort of other paying guests and families with young children isn't entirely compromised. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and implements a clearer, strictly enforced curfew for loud events in the future.

We stayed at the Heritance for 14 nights. What a superb experience. The location on the beach with glorious views. The hotel was spotless and rooms spacious with everything you needed and were cleaned daily. The staff were brilliant and friendly especially Agra and Marin who went out of their way to ensure we were being well looked after and it was nice to get such a personal touch. I wish I could remember all the the staff names as there are so many I would like to thank personally, bar staff , pool attendants/ lifeguards, restaurant staff , room boys and gardeners. The food is excellent with so much choice and the desserts are to die for!! A special thanks to all the chefs I would recommend this hotel as it is one of the best I have stayed in and you won’t be disappointed.

Lovely to return again to this fantastic hotel, thanks to Priyan for helping with our room reservation. Food is fantastic and everyone is so friendly. Very quiet at the moment due to “low season”. We are staying all exclusive for 12 nights, seems a shame that if we don’t want to go to the main restaurant for lunch we now have to pay for a snack such as a burger or chicken and fries, in the past these were included with the All Inclusive. Also just another point, it would be nice and also make the guest feel valued if staff came around the pool/gardens during the daytime to see if anyone would like a drink occasionally, instead of having to go to the bar. Here until early June.

I had a wonderful stay at Heritance Ahungalla. The hotel has a beautiful beachfront location, relaxing atmosphere, and excellent hospitality. The rooms were spacious, clean, comfortable, and had amazing views, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The food and overall service were excellent throughout our visit. We had a great experience, and the service provided by Miran was really good. He was very friendly, attentive, and made us feel comfortable throughout. His positive attitude and helpful nature truly added to our experience. Highly recommended!
