Hikka Tranz by Cinnamon

We recently spent two nights at Hikka Tranz by Cinnamon and had a lovely stay. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by Ravindu at the front desk, who was so bubbly and welcoming—a real asset to the team! The room was spacious and spotlessly clean. While the decor felt a bit dated, the view from our balcony of the ocean and pool was absolutely breathtaking. We also want to give a shout-out to our room attendant, Madushanka, who did a fantastic job. The facilities are great; relaxing on the lawn and by the pool was a highlight of our trip. Regarding the buffet, the food was good, though we felt the variety could be improved, and the restaurant itself got quite warm during mealtimes. Overall, a relaxing stay with exceptional staff!

The hotel is large and located by the beach side on a wide piece of land with a well maintained garden. The rooms are large and spacious but need urgent renovation. The floor tiles are well worn out and bathrooms not well maintained. Housekeeping needs supervision. Bottled water is limited for the day. Balcony view is good overlooking the pool and the sea. They have 3 restaurants, of which only one is airconditioned where you get served buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner. The breakfast is good. The staff at this restaurant are helpful and take care of your needs. There are two other restaurants: one fish and the other Italian that are not airconditioned and therefore uncomfortable for meals. They are hardly occupied. The bar is good and is airconditioned. Fish menu is limited and expensive. There are however restaurants nearby which i did not visit.

Loved our stay at Hikka Tranz, the staff were helpful and friendly, and the hotel was walking distance to lots of good places to eat, Tuk tuks easy to get around in to local spots too.Loved seeing the turtles at the beach too!

We stayed in for 3 nights. Hotel grounds are wonderful and staff really friendly. It is located at cental location and have a private beach. Hotel itself is very old and haven't been modernised especially the rooms which are spaciour but dated. This hotel has seen its good days. I wouldn't classify it as a 5 star but a good 4 star. Housekeeping are great and they look after the room very well. Rushan who was lookng after room was very good and made us an elephant and rabbit out of towls which our 13 years old was very impressed. Overall stay, comformatable.

Hotel was in a good location on beach and near lots of restaurants. The rooms were a good size but tired. Great view from room over pool and beach. Lots of wild life around. Good buffet breakfast included. Staff not that friendly except one cleaner compared to other hotels in Sri Lanka we had stayed at.
