Hikka Tranz by Cinnamon

Hello everyone! We had a very nice stay at Hikkaduwa Tranz by Cinnamon. We spent wonderful days there and had many interesting moments and experiences. We saw baby turtles being released into the ocean, monitor lizards and small squirrels that regularly passed through the garden, and huge sea turtles on the beach. There are interesting reefs nearby where you can see beautiful fish and much more. Honestly, we have no words to describe the staff. I don't know how to express my gratitude to the people who took care of our stay and made it comfortable and enjoyable - I am simply speechless. The people of Sri Lanka are the best and friendliest people we have ever met. The hotel staff - at the reception and in the restaurant - every single one of them was extremely kind and always smiling. The food was excellent; many thanks to the chefs and sous chefs! Heartfelt thanks to the restaurant staff who served us — Gamini and Telakasiri. Thank you, all of you! 🙂 Special thanks to Uditha who cleaned our room every day and made sure everything was tidy and well organized. Thank you all for everything! Best wishes!

Beautiful setting. Lovely staff. Greeted on arrival and looked after by Vishmi. Pool and grounds immaculate. Breakfast spread amazing as was the food in the Crab Shack.

We had an exceptionally wonderful family holiday at HikkaTranz. The location is truly unbeatable with just metres from the lovely ocean, you could just spend hours looking at the amazing views, either from your own sea view balcony or in the pool area, which is, by the way one of the most beautiful ones I've been to. The hotel and it's outside area are well maintained, the guards are present to make you feel secure and staff are always available. We saw birds, some iguanas and squirrels in the garden, it was very fun to watch them. Sun loungers were always available and there were at least two beach access were you could enter to the public beach and if lucky, to see the giant turtles. We went for AI and must say it was the one of the best we've had. Lots of variety and so fresh and delicious. We were taken very good care of by the lovely staff, especially would like to thank Thilakasiri, Sanjeewa and Gamini who were always there for us. Our room was with sea view and did easily accommodate 3 persons (2 adults and a teenager). AC kept the room cool and the beds were comfortable, slept very well during our 10 night stay. Bathroom was big enough and plenty of space for your personal belongings. Our room attendant Rasun took very good care of our room and it was always spotless. He was very attentive and making sure everything was taken care of. Over all, HikkaTranz was very good choice and we definitely will come back! It must be one of the best hotels in the area, maybe the best one, the location is exceptional, the staff amazing and they really make sure you will make the most of your holiday!

Hospitality at its best! Spent 2 weeks with my family here. A big thanks to Chamila and Renuka in the restaurant, accompanied by Asoka, Kasun and the rest of the team you made every meal an wonderful experience. Kumara in the bar made the coolest drinks by the pool, always with a friendly smile. Last but not least - Madushanka, always greeting us with a smile every day and the lovely folded animals as a little surpise in the room. Thanks a lot to all of you and hope to see you soon again!
