Royal Palms Beach Hotel

We recently had another wonderful family stay at Royal Palms Beach Hotel, Kalutara—and once again, it did not disappoint! We booked a Corner Suite and a Deluxe Room, and both were fantastic. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and perfect for travelling with a little one. The Deluxe Room, in particular, had plenty of space for our son to play around, which made a big difference for us as parents. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive throughout our stay. A special mention to Dilhani at reception, who was exceptional—friendly, approachable, and genuinely caring. She went out of her way to ensure we had a smooth and pleasant stay, and we truly appreciate the effort she took. The restaurant staff were also outstanding, going above and beyond to make sure our 1.5-year-old had everything he needed—they were so warm and accommodating. We also loved the thoughtful gesture at check-in, when our son was gifted a toy car. He absolutely adored it, and it kept him happily entertained! The food was consistently good, and the pool remains one of our favourite spots to relax as a family. We’ve been visiting this hotel at least three times a year for over a decade now, and it has never disappointed. It truly feels like our home away from home. We’ll definitely be back again!

The property is really nice , the views are amazing, with a huge pool.... The food was great and Mr. Vihanga helped us throughout our stay from a smooth checkin to checkout... Keep doing what you do , Mr. Anupa from the service was very humble n helpful too.. Thankyou

I visited this hotel yesterday and had a wonderful experience. The service was excellent, and the staff were especially friendly and welcoming. A special thank you to Ameesha for providing outstanding service and making our visit even more enjoyable. I would also like to appreciate the rest of the team for their great hospitality. Very nice hotel with friendly and excellent service, a beautiful garden but unfortunately no beach anymore. There are only rocks now so that swimming singt possible. The pool is large but shallow and fairly warm. Little problems like a room switch or a broken A/C were quickly solved. I only had half board and found breakfast and dinner to be very tasteful and they went all out to offer quite a large selection of dishes. For Easter, they did a fun egg hunt in the lobby. Madhavee and Shenali were very charming and well prepared to organize the event. We had such a nice time! Thank you Royal Palms.

I highly recommend this Hotel. Lovely surroundings and friendly staff. Room and everything is neat and clean. Food is very delicious. There is so many activities to do. Pool is long as well. Come and enjoy your next destination.
