⚠️ HEALTH WARNING ⚠️ Due to food consumed at this hotel 30th of Dec 2025, two members of our family (mother & young daughter) contracted salmonella and required five days of hospitalization. This happened during our New Year’s stay. Future guests should be aware of this serious risk.

Our family holiday ended in a medical nightmare. After dining at the hotel on December 29, 2025, my wife and my 20-month-old daughter fell seriously ill. The Consequences: Both required emergency medical treatment at Nawaloka Hospital. • Diagnosis: CONFIRMED SALMONELLA POISONING. • Medical Evidence: Lab reports from Jan 3, 2026 prove "Salmonella SPP isolated". • Severity: The infection was life-threatening. My wife had a CRP of 141.0 mg/L and my 20-month-old baby had a CRP of 139.2 mg/L (Normal is < 6). Both suffered from high fever (40°C / 104°F) and severe dehydration. Management Response: Despite this emergency caused by their food hygiene, the management showed zero duty of care. Instead of helping, they tried to exploit our situation by demanding 190 Euros per night for a room extension while my child was on an IV drip. We were forced to evacuate to another hotel for our safety. Conclusion: This hotel is a severe health hazard.

I was a superb experience staying in Surya Resort Suite Room , which is amazing - spacious, sea view from balcony , jacuzzy in room, peaceful atmosphere around the hotel.

Breathtaking property with lovely room, beautiful pool in great location and a lovely pool area. Staff were accommodating especially after our late arrival and our room and bed including pillows were luxurious.

Relaxing 1 night stay at this hotel. Our friendly host Achini made us feel welcome during our visit. Breakfast and dinner were excellent - tasty food. Beautiful beach location and great swimming pool to enjoy.
