Taj Bentota Resort & Spa

Our stay at this wonderful property was truly amazing. On our way from Hiriketiya, we decided to stop here for one night on a full board basis, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. The rooms were excellent, comfortable, clean and beautifully maintained. The beach was absolutely amazing, and the pool was equally enjoyable, making it a perfect place to simply relax and enjoy Bentota. But what really made our stay memorable was the people. The restaurant team, Janitha, Sam, Maduka, Dinesh, Raveendra and Samaadhi, looked after us in such a warm and genuine way that we never felt like we were staying in a hotel. Their hospitality felt personal and sincere. They were incredibly friendly, attentive and always seemed genuinely happy to look after us. The food was excellent, but it was the warmth of the people that made every meal special. We have stayed at several places around Bentota, and this has been our best experience so far in terms of genuine Sri Lankan hospitality. Excellent rooms, a beautiful beach, a lovely pool, great food and, above all, wonderful people. A very well deserved five stars. We would happily return.

The food was fabulous. Both the Indian Chefs Mr. G sarathkumar and Mr. Jasveer were really cooperative and could understand what we actually need or what is our taste to eat and helped us stay peaceful with all our stomach full with the best food. Thanks to both of them. The therapist SUSANTI at the SPA was the best. I have had spas at lot many places and cities and countries but she was the best therapist I experienced. She was so dedicated towards her work could have asked for a better one. Thanks TAJ for keeping the best people with you

it is very charming and well maintained taj resort. very well received at reception and smooth check in process. stayed for two night in sea view room. marvelous view from room balcony. being half jain senior citizen couple. we had no problem with food. CHEF DALIP provided us such a tasty veg food without onion & garlic that we can never forget. he also helped us to introduce indian chef for our further journeys in Colombo etc. house keeping was very nice . room boy GAYAN was very attentive. we stayed there 8 august,26 to 10 august . one of our most memorable stay with excellent TAJ HOSPITALITY.

Our stay at Taj Bentota was truly wonderful and memorable. Traveling with friends, we felt completely at home thanks to the warmth and hospitality of the entire team. A very special mention to Indian Head Chef Mr. Dalip Singh, who gave us such personalized attention and went out of his way to prepare our favorite meals on request. The buffet was absolutely amazing, with every dish being delicious and beautifully prepared. Heartfelt thanks to Chef Manoj, Chef Priyantha, Shamika, Gayan, Rezali, Ruwan, Sama, and Manager Bimal for their warmth and care. A special mention to Mr. Ravindra, our server, who was extremely polite and attentive, taking care of every little detail.
