Taj Bentota Resort & Spa

We had a wonderful two-night stay at Taj Bentota. From the moment we arrived, we received a warm traditional welcome, and the check-in was quick and smooth thanks to Prasangi and her team. Front Desk Manager Suranga was very professional, friendly, and always smiling, which made our stay even more pleasant. We visited to celebrate our daughter’s 22nd birthday, and the room was beautifully decorated by the housekeeping team. Special thanks to Mr. Rushmika for his great attitude and excellent service. The food was fantastic, especially the breakfast with a stunning view of the Indian Ocean. Ravindra and Ruwan at the restaurant provided exceptional, friendly, five-star service throughout. Overall, it was a memorable stay. We highly recommend Taj Bentota to anyone looking for a luxurious beachfront getaway.

Just arrived back from a 5 night B&B stay. Room was lovely and kept really clean, breakfast was great, good selection and attentive service (thanks Sam). Whole hotel was really clean and all staff so helpful and kind. Beach was glorious too, you can hire beds for little cost privately & get surf lessons from the guys where you join the beach. No hassle from the dogs on the beach, they were all chilled & just shared our shade. Highly recommend! Local places to each are all amazing, some right on the door step, some a little stroll or tuk tuk ride away. Our favs were Vintage, Tuna Tuna & Secret Harbour (all 5* on Trip advisor). Bentota is a great base to jump on a train and travel along the cost or get a tuk tuk or driver for the day. Only 1.5 hours fr the airport too. Thanks Taj Bentota for an amazingly chilled break xxxx

Being overseas and getting to relish vegetarian Indian delicacies of great taste is a wonderful experience which we received at Taj Bentota while our Sri Lanka tour. Excellent experience at Taj Bentota. The stay was outstanding specially bcoz of great food experience and hospitality by Chef Jasvir Singh and staff members. Special thanks to him for serving us delicious food and also taking extra efforts to cater our kids choices.

I recently visited Taj Bentota Resort & Spa for lunch and had a wonderful experience. The food was delicious, and the ambiance of the hotel made it even more enjoyable. What really stood out was the excellent service. A special thanks to Sam, who took great care of us. He was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect throughout our visit. Highly recommend this place if you’re visiting Bentota. Looking forward to coming back again!
