We recently stayed at your hotel and had a truly fabulous experience. From the moment we arrived, the front office staff gave us a warm and welcoming reception, which made us feel very comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and appreciated the excellent service throughout. I had an amazing time dining at Thurya Hotel, especially with the stunning Panama sea view that really sets the mood. The food is absolutely top-notch—every dish was packed with rich, authentic flavors and clearly made with a lot of skill and care. It’s obvious they put a lot of thought into quality and creativity, which made the whole meal really enjoyable. The only downside for me was the cocktails—they could definitely use some tweaking to match the high standards of the food and atmosphere. But overall, the team there did an awesome job and went above and beyond to make sure the dining experience was memorable. If you’re in Panama and want great food with a beautiful view, I’d definitely recommend checking this place out

I recently stayed at Hotel Thuruyaa in Kalutara on Friday and Saturday, and unfortunately, the experience was quite disappointing. The room itself had a beautiful view, which was the only real highlight of the stay. However, the buffet was extremely poor and far below expectations. As Sri Lankans, we usually look forward to a good buffet spread when staying at a hotel, but this was not the case here. For example, the “chicken salad” didn’t even have chicken—just pumpkin. The seafood salad included ash plantain instead of proper seafood. There were no proper meat dishes at all, and almost every item was covered heavily in sauce, which made the food unappealing and repetitive. Overall, the food quality and variety were very disappointing. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this hotel, especially if you are expecting a good buffet. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and improves their food standards.

My family had a wonderful stay. The hotel itself is fantastic. From the ambience to the cleanliness, everything was perfect. Great customer service. Mouthwatering, delicious food with lots of variety. Special thanks to Wasantha and the front office team for their excellent customer service. Finally, a big thank you to Duminda, who honored my last-minute request and made all the arrangements for us to have a wonderful time there. Highly recommended. Thank you, and we will be back.

We recently stayed at Turyaa Hotel and while the property itself is quite pretty and has a lot of potential, the overall condition of the hotel was disappointing. For a hotel managed by Aitken Spence, we expected a much higher standard. Unfortunately, the hotel felt quite run down and not well maintained. The cleanliness was below what we would expect, particularly from the housekeeping team. The floors in the room were dirty, and the room itself looked worn out and not properly cleaned or maintained. It’s a shame because the location and general setting of the property are lovely, but the lack of upkeep and poor housekeeping standards really affected our experience. We hope management will address these issues and improve the overall standard of the hotel.
